I agree, if you can afford it then you should treat yourself.
Have fun at your nieces birthday. OH's niece was 3 too on sunday, was a really nice day.0 -
Exactly, if you don't smoke or go out drinking much you deserve to treat yourself on some lovely food.

Well a nice well deserved day off today :j OH has just left for work, and i'm just chillaxing until about lunch time when i'll pop to town to get the bits mentioned earlier in the week, might also have a looksy in the charity shops for a Dublin travel book, if i can't find one then i will rent one from the library, better than forking out £6 from waterstones.
Curry turned out yummy last night, thanks Hayley. I've never been a big curry fan, but lately i've been making them more for OH and i've enjoyed them too. I do like a Balti as they're not so hot as other currys. Not keen on spicy foods. I won't need to make dins tonight as my sister is doing some party nibbles, however if OH doesn't get off work in time for the party i'll have to make him some dins when i get home i bet.
Thanks Maria, the cut and colour is a right bargain. Be great to get it done before we go away.
3 is such a cute age, the things they say and do, they're so intelligent at that age its scary. The very best things in life ... are free!

Yesterday was such a brilliant day, my niece had such a great birthday, she's such a little princess. Just sad I'm going to miss her big party on Sunday, sooo looking forward to Dublin though.
Tonight i have a MASSIVE pile of ironing to do, so I'm going to do that and tomorrow night I'm going to do all the cleaning, as Saturday I'm pampered, then off to our best friends in the evening before flying out early Sunday, so need to get all the chores done now so the apartment is spick and span before we go.
OH's mum gave us £50 in euros last night as a treat for Dublin, she's so great to us. My Dad then gave us 20 euros which he found lying around the house, and i found 15 euros from our last hols to Europe, so its adding up nicely. I still think we'll need to take about £300 in euros to last us the 5 days.
Off to crack on with that big pile of ironing now, joy!!!!

Hope the ironing went OK!
Sounds like your niece had a lovely day, bet she was spoilt rotten.
You must be really excited for Dublin, that is really good you have got some euros together already.0 -
Did you manage to get your ironing done? I never iron anything unless it's something like a shirt, I'm very lazy and must look very creased all the time!
I bet you can't wait until Dublin! Sounds like your euros are all adding up nicely. Hope you have a great timeMoney paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

All the ironing gone done last night, it was a great feeling putting it all away and having no clothes left to ironing, apart from a couple of bits drying at the mo. Tonight when i got home from an 11 hour day at work i started cleaning the apartment from top to bottom, didn't finish until 9.30, then OH and I had dinner. The apartment is looking spotless now, love it. All beds changed, all washing done, everywhere sparkling. I can never leave for a holiday without the apartment being totally cleaned from top to bottom, I'm very house proud.
Just finished watching Gordan Ramseys kitchen Nightmares and have just got into bed as knackered with a capital K. OH is playing PS3, so left him too it.
We ordered £300 worth of Euros on Travelex tonight so we'll pick them up at the airport on Sunday.
Tomorrow I've got to pop into work for a couple of hours, my choice, so much to do before a week off i want to get it all done, now that dedication. After that i've got my hair appointment, it's cut and colour so will probably take 4 hours, like it usually does. Then need to rush back, get the suitcases packed and head to our best friends for dinner. They live about an hour away so it's going to be a busy Saturday. Hopefully leave there by 9 as we're up at 5 am Sunday for the flight.
I still need to get a Dublin book so i'll look in the library tomorrow i think.
