Welldone on walking into work today- just think of all the money you will be saving by doing so. Ibet it'll all build up really fast and it'll keep you fit too!

I'm trying to find new ways of making some extra cash too but not getting very far.

I knew I recognised the posh lady, couldn't think from where.

Walking to work sounds like a fab idea. 1.70 a day will really add up quickly.

I have been tempted by joining Bingo Britain and noticed you did it recently.
is it fairly straight forward and easy to do and did you win much overall?

Thanks girlies, i plan to keep it up for as long as i can, i do need to buy myself a pair of gloves tho, i got into work this morning and my hands were frozen, took hours to warm them up!

Bingo Britain used to be good, but i think they have changed the T&C's lately, meaning you can only withdraw when you get to £50 and cannot add money then withdraw it straight away. Maybe look on the Bingo Britain thread, I'm sure there is one, and find out if its worth it before joining. I read somebody's diary earlier and i think he's doing well on Bingo Britain despite the change in T&C's so may still be worth it hun.

Well today was eventful, walked into work, the £1.70 has just gone in my sealed pot, and had a big row with the boss, all sorted now, he apologised and said your an asset to this company and we can't lose you. I had threatened to walk out. Then the snow started coming down really hard at 5pm, within 20 mins the town was white and it didn't look like it was gonna stop. So left and headed for the bus stop, got on the first bus that i saw, after sitting on the bus for 40 mins going nowhere i got off and walked home in the blizzard. I got in half hour ago looking like a snowman, i was covered in snow. Its still snowing now....tomorrow should be interesting.

Not much else to report today. I didn't get charged for my £3.20 lunch so that's just gone in the pot also. A nice roasted vegetable and goats cheese ciabatta for free, yum!

your day sounds very very eventful indeed but at least you're home safe in the warm now. Try not to let you're eventful day put you off walking to work in the future, cus weather like this is such a rarity these days. I think it could be treacherous though tomorrow if it all freezes over tonight.

Another day of walking to work in the snow and walking home, it's tiring me out and starting to feel a bit run down and like I'm getting flu :rolleyes: just for the weekend.

Not much else to report again, i really good to get my bottom in gear and start money saving, this weekend definitely. Checking the weather it looks like its going to be a very cold and snowy weekend so i'll be in doing lots of money making tasks (she says)
