    Morning,

Is that the cheapest you can find for the i-phone? Or is it that you want it to be with Orange over a different traiff? If you buy online through Quidco you could probably get near £50 cashback for a phone contract..

£50 budget sounds good, im sure you can do it no problem! ;)

  • Morning hun,

The iphone is only on Orange and O2 at the moment, and they are both more or less the same in price, i think O2 are 1p cheaper on all their contracts, wow. My OH was speaking to the guy in Orange before Christmas about the iphone and asked why they are so expensive, and it turns out Apple set the prices for the iphone, and Orange/O2 have nothing to do with the tariff prices.

I'm going to withdraw the £50 at the beginning of the month and make it last.

Busy day today, i need to write my shopping list for the bits i need for the meal tonight, after that pop to Sainsburys, and also take the recycling with me. When i get back need to do all the ironing, sort out my car, and then start preparing for later.

Ahhh just had a look on O2 you can get them free but if you sign up for a 24 month contract. He did get a 24 month contract but quite a while ago, think he paid £50 for it.

  • Maria it depends on the tariff you go for, I'm not prepared to pay £50 a month to get the phone for free, my current contract is only £15 a month so couldn't justify the £35 extra a month on the phone. So I'm going for the £29.36 a month tariff and paying £184.50 for the phone. Your OH might of went for the higher tariff on a 24 month contract, i'll be on 18 months. Still crazy money for a phone. I must be crazy!

I want an iphone! I'm still on contract with my phone for ages though and am skint, maybe I'll treat myelf later in the year when I get some money.
  • That a shame Yuk - my contact ends in January, so i either bite the bullet now or sign up for a different phone and not be happy with it. At least if i buy the Iphone i will be happy and will spend all my time playing with the apps, instead of out shopping :j i have an itouch and the apps are cool, especially the spending diary one.

Just added another £1 to my jar - now on £3 and only £362 to go. I won't be keeping tabs on how much goes in my sealed pot, i will save that for the end of November to put towards christmas presents.

Just need to get my butt back in gear and sign up to some sites to make some money.

  • Exactly the same as me Maria, i hardly make calls or texts so wasn't happy to pay so much for nothing. I'm happy with £29 as i get free internet which i will definitely make the most off, that alone is worth the £29 a month.

  • What a busy afternoon i've had, 1/2 hour to find a parking space at Sainsburys, it was rammo in there. Why everybody left it last minute to stock up i don't know. I only left it till today because i didn't know what i was going to cook OH and I. I ended up spending £29, but i used £10 worth of Nectar points so only paid £13. So i've got all the ingredients for tonight, just need to start cooking soon.

I've also blitzed the whole apartment, everywhere is hovered, dusted and cleaned, and my HUGE ironing pile is no more :j:j everywhere is so clean i can now relax properly. All the recycling has been sorted ready to be taken to Sainsburys tomorrow morning.

OH and I also popped to Blockbusters and rented out our 2 free blu-ray dvds ready for tonight, as we have checked the tv guide and not a lot is on, apart from the usual Jools Holland thingy on BBC 2, no thank you! We'll tune in to ITV near midnight to see the London fireworks.

Right, off to spend the night with OH. But before i go i would just like to wish all those who read my diary a really great 2010, may we all have a great year, filled with love, laughter and happiness.

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY MSE FRIENDS
