  • Thanks Yuk - i to hope the cars stays okay for a couple more months, then i can buy my Mini Cooper :j

Ouch yup, but its only once a year i think, so why not spoil OH for a bit :D i don't know why i go so mad on my family though, always the same every year though

Just finished making my crackers and boy that was hard, very fiddly and bit frustrating at times cos some parts just weren't sticking. I think i may tackle the piles of presents tomorrow and start wrapping when i get up. Maybe i can put some christmassy music on and get OH in the mood, he's a right grump at the mo, he's never really liked this time of year.

Decided from january all my money is going to go into savings and only giving myself £50 a month spending money, might stop my spending ways and throwing far to much money down the drain.

    Plans for tomorrow are:-

Pick up OH's car from the BMW garage
    Wrap all the presents
Clean the apartment from top to bottom
Maybe (if i can be bothered) do the ironing
Go to family in the evening and give out presents as i'm at OH's family on the big day
and lastly.....have a drink on xmas eve, nothing much, maybe a cocktail :j

and then bed to wait for santa to come

Challenges for 2010: Sealed pot challenge n.o.855 - £365 in 365 days challenge (pay for xmas in 2010) £21 - Make £5 a day in Jan challenge £0.00/£155
  • Another Christmas over and gone, doesn't just go so quickly, more quickly every year i get older. OH and I spent xmas day at his mum n dads, which was really nice, a total relaxing day doing things you should at xmas time, relaxing on the sofa watching movies whilst eating choccys :D and also playing board games.

I was a very lucky girl this xmas, i only asked for money as thb there isn't anything i need, its always the same every xmas, so this year just asked for money and got over £600 :j and also lots of other lovely pressies, like Angel perfume (my fav) and Bluewater vouchers Lush goodies & Soap and Glory (another of my favs) and lots of lovely little bits. OH was very very happy with his gifts, and was even more surprised with i presented him with his extra gift in the evening, a PSP :D So he got a PSP, new Ipod, aftershave gift set, and lots of other lovely bits from me.

Yesterday we didn't do much, popped to the Next sales with OH's mum and dad, didn't leave till 10 so when we got there most of the good stuff had gone, so didn't buy anything. I did however buy the One Tree Hill season 6 boxset from HMV for £30 in the sales, so i'll watch that before the 4th Jan when back to work and then list it on Amazon. I also ordered The Hills season 4 boxset on Amazon when i got home. Again i'll sell it when i've watched it, i don't ever watch boxsets more then once.

Just getting ready to head to the town to see what's left in the sales. I'm after some work shoes and whatever else jumps out at me. Wish me luck. I had a row yesterday in Next with this rude cow who kept pushing people, she didn't like me having a polite word with her, so got her friends to come along and barge me, i got so angry  BIATCH!!!!

Glad your OH liked his pressies!

The Next sale didn't sound too much fun, some people are so rude. Hope it is a bit better today in the sales.

What are you going to do with the money you got? You did very well there!
  • I didn't buy much in the sales yesterday, everything looked like rubbish they are trying to get rid off, normally i always find something in River Island but this year nothing. The only things is spent money on was a £10 top in DP's (reduced from £25) and £19's worth of 1/2 bits in Boots for birthdays/christmas next year. Left at 10.30 and was back by 12 :D quickest time at the sales ever!

Wendz - i have nothing in mind to spend the money on, i was thinking of putting some of it towards an iphone. The contract i want i would have to pay £186 for the phone. Still undecided about it at the mo.

Today OH and I are off to see our best friends and have our own little Christmas together.

i have decided that from the 1st January i am going to get back to me MS ways and save save save, and find ways to make extra £££. It started off well this morning as i won £15 on bingo :j Just need to deposit £5 to withdraw.

I'm now going to run myself a nice bath and use my soap and glory products :D bliss.

  • Totally agree girlies :j heres to a great 2010 :D

I started today by signing up to some challenges for 2010 :-

Make £5 a day in January
£365 over 365 days (will use this to pay for xmas next year)
    Sealed pot challenge

I think that's enough for January, and will ease me back in gently.

OH and I have my 3 year old niece today so after lunch we are going to take her to see Alvin and the chipmunks at the cinema, and then get some dinner after.

Just heard we may have more snow today  the snow from last week has only just disappeared, can't believe we are getting more by the end of the week.
