    Hi Tina
Of course you can join in. I'm no expert but 10 stone ish?

Glad, keep up the good work, you're doing great.

Honey, have you come out in sympathy with me? I'm still cold but feeling much better thanks.

I've been to class, lost 1lb and declared TARGET :j

We had a stand in consultant today and she's lovely, really helpful and encouraging (unlike our usual one)

    3 days to go...

Went to the docs this morning and weighed myself there! I was pleasantly surprised! It was 3lbs less than the scales at the pharmacy last night but since it was 10am rather than my usual 7pm I guess that accounts for the change, i usually find I weigh in heavier in the evenings! I was so impressed tho, it was the lightest that I have seen the scales read in about ten years!!! wahey!

Welcome tina! I am 5ft 4" so am aiming for about 10 stone, maybe consultant31 can give you a better idea but would say that would be a rough idea, there are websites where you can find your ideal weight, try have a rummage round on google!

Tina, your ideal weight is what you feel good at. The emphasis at SW is on health and well-being, so if you feel fab at say 11 stone, then so be it. The only stipulation to being a member is that there is a lowest acceptable weight. At 5' 6" that would be 8st 12 lbs, which I think everyone would agree, is far too low.
Enjoy the journey, whether you go via the motorway (single-minded) or via the scenic route (like most of us, lol).:rotfl:

    Well Done Cheekymole :T :T

Hope that has cheered you up today ?

I also hope that you are still going to come on here and provide the encouragement that you have done over the past few months because you would be missed if you didn't!

Welcome Tina - I used to weigh myself on the 20p scales in Boots and they were fine. As long as you weigh yourself at roughly the same time and the same day each week there shouldn't be too much variance - I always wear the same clothes to SW - I'm superstitious - I'm sure they think I have no other clothes :rotfl:

You'd be surprised how many people come in the same lothes every week, regardless of the weather;)
I had to laugh last week though when one of my members came to class straight from a day out, wearing jeans. She was annoyed to find she'd maintained, mentioned her jeans, then had a quick look round to see if we had any male members in, and took them off :rotfl: She was chuffed to find that she had, in fact, lost 1½ lbs.

Congratulations CheekyMole - that's fab, and what a way to do it - 1lb off is great!! What a great weight loss, 21lbs since Jan - you should be very proud!!
Right, went to a class as a visitor this morning to a different group as I will be in Spain with work tomorrow for my usual class, despite my scales saying I have lost a lb, these scales said I had put on half a pound, oh well, I live to fight another day, and after the weekend I had I am not too angry (although a bit gutted as I worked hard to keep on the straight and narrow, with only a small(ish) deviation!). I am very determined to stick to the plan whilst away and have got some hi-fi bars for emergencies!! I think I should be fine, the one thing you cant say on SW is that you don't know what you can eat as you can eat pretty much anything just certain combinations and limits!
Good luck to everyone this week, and I know my friend Ros watches this board and she has just got her 2 stone award at WW which she has been working towards since January, and looks amazing!! Well done Ros!
Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A
