Lose Weight 6

Hi Everyone,
Disappointing result from my weigh in today. I've stayed the same:o
I'm not really too worried about it. It's coming up to that time so I'm feeling a bit bloated and I've really struggled this week. I'm glad I haven't put any weigh on, I know I'll do better next week. In the meantime, I'll keep following the thread for motivation.
Good luck this week everyone.

Help guys,
I'm feeling really sorry for myself. I've had stomach cramps all day, arthritis playing up with the damp weather. Tried to have a hot bath - no hot water, tried to turn up the heating - doesn't work, called british gas - can't come out until Wednesday. Cold, miserable, and in dire need of comfort food.
I'm gonna have to resort to chocolate, can somebody talk me out of it pleaseI haven't got one!0 -
Hi Dellybelly - my SW consultant always used to say that a maintain is better than a gain. I used to think she was just saying that to make us feel better, but us females are a funny lot, it could be your hormones, or you might be retaining water this week. Stay motivated and hopefully you'll have a nice surprise next week.
I had my 'official' weigh in this morning and I'm pleased to say I lost 7lbs. I'm only counting 1lb towards my target however, as I gained 6lbs on my long weekend away, and wanted to start counting from the weight I was before then. I'm lucky that if I get back on track straight after a break I can usually lose whatever I've gained quite quickly - it's probably all water! (or should that be wine - lol)
How has everyone else done this week?

Yeah, lost 2.5 lb first week back on SW. Originally I only lost .5lb, so very happy. I have been walking a lot, though. Got my holiday coming up this week and I am going to stay on plan.

Aww cheeky - I really feel for you.
How about a nice warming mug of hot chocolate - cadbury's highlights are only 2 syns per sachet, and I think it's the same for options. Or if you can get out and it's not raining, maybe you could go for a walk and reward yourself with a small amount of chocolate - I've got arthritis in my knees and find that walking usually helps.

Lol Cheeky, you sound really cheesed off!
I too can recommend the hot chocolate Options ( I particularly like the hazelnut one - yum). I sometimes make it in a humungous mug and put 2 sachets in, if I'm really desperate for chocolate. If you're cold as well. , take a hot water bottle and get into your lovely comfy bed and take the Options with you. By the time you've drunk it all, you should feel comfortably full of choccy taste and warm as toast. Well, it works for me!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I can't really go to bed until 10pm as if I fall asleep the puppy might not be able to hold his bladder all night and wouldn't like to clean it up without any hot water!!!
I'm gonna have the hot chocolate though - I'll hold out as long as I can and then enjoy it even more.
It's weigh in tomorrow and don't want to do too much damageI haven't got one!0 -
