Nice to meet you consultant31 and thanks for coming on here and sharing all of your advice with us, I am muddling through at the moment and I know I should be writing everything down, but I am not, I should be eating all my healthy extras, but I am not, I should be eating all my syns, but guess what, i am not! I am trying to eat as much syn free stuff all day long and then having a couple of syns in the evening and more syns in wine and the odd 'treat' at the weekend.... I am a recipe for a disaster I think!!!I MUST do something about this!! << large kick up the derrier needed please! LOL! >>

Don't miss going to class, it could be the beginning of a slippery slope.
Our bodies are a very complicated piece of machinery and can play up at times for no reason at all. However, if you stick with the plan, it will all turn out right in the end.
When you've had a holiday, because you eat stuff you've probably not had in any quantity for ages, your body holds on to extra fluid for a while. After your maintain, if you've kept within guidelines, you should have a loss.
One of the best bits of advice I can give is to ditch the bathroom scales - they cause no end of misery - and they're not going to be anywhere near as good as the class scales (these are insured for £350).
To summarise: you're not doing anything wrong, just sounds as though you're having a bad day. Stop worrying, it'll be fine :grouphug:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Aw honey, I didnt read your post until after I wrote mine, I think I have contradicted my rationale behind allowing yourself to have treats too! LOL!
I think Jenittels diary idea sounds brilliant, i know what you mean about not missing things, i have been eating brown bread only (if I have it at all) without spread since I started on SW but last night I (very naughty!!!) ate 4 slices of white bread (toast) with butter on it (and even PEANUT BUTTER on one of them!!) it was very yummy but this morning I wish I hadn't :mad:Official DFW Nerd 2100 -

It doesn't sound as if you're doing all that badly to me. If you choose to save some syns for the weekend, that's fine. The mistake some people make is to try and save them all, which tends to leave you feeling overly deprived all week, and this can lead to a binge. You are doing the right thing in filling up on free foods as much as possible - not a recipe for disaster at all, more a recipe for a lifelong, healthy, slimmer person, I think.:DI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Thanks consultant31 - i feel a bit better now!! I have enthusiasm to keep going!! I will stop by the chemist and weigh myself today and make it a regular monday thing so will post back on here later when I see the true reflection of my weight after weighing myself with broken scales for gawd knows how long!!Official DFW Nerd 2100
