Hi Cheekymole - its not like you to be down in the dumps. Think of the Canadian sunshine that's ahead of you - You will warm there!

Have a hot choc, with a kitkat and devour it. Take a hot water bottle to bed and enjoy the bed all to yourself! What kind of puppy have you got - my kids are pestering me for a dog - I'm all for it but OH isn't.

OH is away all week and I intend to play starfish in the bed - I even changed the linen today so that I could snuggle into a nice fresh bed all to myself. Borrowed a book from my mum and I'm heading that way soon - that will keep me from nibbling anyhow.

Didn't go to class - am am bit cheesed off today and had noone to keep kids for me. Its an excuse really I know, but I'm just not in the mood today. Must be something in the air.

    Hi Honey

We are looking after a Guide Dog puppy black lab for a year and then we have to give him back!!!!
The kitkat is looking good at the minute, plenty in the cupboard too. Mouth watering now!
I'm trying to occupy my mind rather than my tummy.
I hope you feel better tomorrow, Hon x

Thanks, you too. It'll be hard to give him back.

    Not sure about that.

    Is anyone watching Channel 5?

Feel a bit cheeky 'cos I just dip in and out of this thread, but I just lost 3lb this week (making it 15 in total). Well done to everyone out there who's weight struggling (wow it's hard!!) - and now off to drink more hot blackcurrant (it really works!!)

Well done ceebeeby, good for you. We don't mind you dropping in every now and again. Hot b/c? Does it fill you then?

How much is this? Is it cheaper than 5 single weeks? Thanks.

I don't think it's any cheaper although week 5 might be free as you have to pay up front. It is also moe of a commitment

When there is a Countdown Plus offer on, you will pay for 5 weeks (£21.25) and get 6 weeks i.e. 1 free week. Similarly if you buy 10weeks, you get 12, therefore 2 free weeks.
Countdown Plus come around about every 3 months, and the next one starts in June.
There is always the possibility of buying a normal countdown though (of 5 weeks at £21.25 or 10 weeks at £38.25 for an existing member). These are designed more to encourage commitment than to save you money - the idea being that having paid, you're not going to waste the money by not coming to class every week. ;)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Thank you. I don't quite know how it works but I guess because it's a bit sweet and sugar free and it always fills you up (and isn't a diaretic like tea and coffee, so you pee it out) but it genuinely seems to work (and you can use it as one of your 8 glasses of water). Certainly can't hurt! (It's NAS blackcurrant squash from Tesco)
