Hello all - i'm back from my hols.

i've only read a few posts so far so haven't really caught up but i hope you're all doing ok.

My holiday consisted of a weekend at friend's in northumberland and then a week self catering at center parcs in cumbria. It was absolutely excellent (very relaxing) but had more than one 'bad' meal. My weigh in is on wednesday so we'll see how i've done then but, like everyone, i keep telling myself that whatever happens it was totally worth it for the good time i've had.

    Good luck this week all.

I always tell my members that holidays are part of normal life so enjoy them but make sure you get straight back on track when you come home.
The main damage a holiday does is when it last for months rather than the 2 weeks you're actually away.
Good luck with your weigh in - it may not be nearly as bad as you fear!

I was a target memeber at SW, I am now 'off' target, I know I will need to pay for meetings, but I won't have to join again, will I?

If you go to class and find that you are more than 3lbs over your target weight, you get one week to get down to within that 3lb and then you will have to pay until you reach target again. No you won't have to rejoin.
You may well find that a 100% week (like your very first week at SW) will bring you back to within your target range, then you won't have to pay at all. Good luck!:)

Consultant 31 - Can you explain getting to target eg Do I decide or does my consultant tell me what would be recommended? How many weeks do you need to go for before you can declare a target etc.
I have never discussed this at class - maybe it has been on some of the nights that I have been unable to stay for image therapy on. Nevertheless, I'm confused by it all (easily confused! ):D

Cathy - well done so far.

Wonder if cheekmole has managed to spend all her Boots points and avoid the temptation of pub grub??

You choose your own target at any time it suits you. Some people come to class already knowing where they're aiming for, but most come just hoping to lose weight - any weight!!..
You can decide on a final target or interim ones. For example: Say you start class weighing 14 stone and you would love to end up at 9½ stone. You can just keep plugging away, without telling the Consultant if you want, until you reach that target. OR, you could decide you want to just lose a stone. When you get down to 13 stone, you then decide you want to be 12 stone, and so on. It is only when you have decided on your final target (whatever that is) that you become a life-time free member. You're allowed to gain or lose 3lbs either side of that target before having to pay. You pay until you get back within the range of your original target.
Gosh, reading that lot, it seems as clear as mud - hope I haven't confused you further!!

I get you, If you lie and say your target is 12 stone when in actual fact u want to be 9.5 stone and loose below 11 stone 11 then you still got to pay...so lying to get free weeks won't work lol.
