Oops , too late, you've already decidedI haven't got one!0

I'm off to pick up the parents from the airport tonight at about 11ish so I need to eat late to stop me picking when I get home, also might detour to Ikea on the way.
Out tomorrow (I have £716 worth of advantage card points so we're off to the Trafford centre boots for a shopping spree) so will need to be very careful what I eat and staying in a hotel tomorrow night and having a pub tea with eat as much as you can for brekkie, feel like a failure already!I haven't got one!0 -
I didn't post last sunday as quite upset after my weigh in. After 2 weeks of no loss at all I only lost 1lb. That's only 1lb in 3 weeks!!!
Really fed up but determined to carry on. I am doing sw but should I try something else to see if that works. All in all I've lost 10lb (which I think is nowhere near what I had hoped for) I really want a steady 2lb a week loss.
I don't think I get enough exercise, could that be it?0 -
Hi bobsa, don't be disheartened. Good for you to be sticking with it. Do you have little of lots to lose? (I lose track, sorry)
What exercise do you do? And how often?I haven't got one!0 -

Hi Bobsa- don't dwell on how long it took you to get your 1lb off. It's a brilliant achievement. It's probably not a good idea to switch programmes, I think you'll be better off trying to find out if or where you're going wrong. Since you are really determined to continue (well done for that)- why don't you go over your sw information again and see if that helps. Also, Consultant 31 suggested taking measurements of hip/bust/waist. Why don't you see if that works?
:think:It could also be that you're not eating enough food. Do you keep food diaries? Perhaps you could ask your sw consultant for advice?
As for the exercise thing, there's not much point in taking up loads of exercise that you won't want to continue to do once you've reached your target. hthGoal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Thanks for all your advice. I don't think I was eating enough and hence this week have eaten more. I want to loose about 3stone so still a long way to go!
I am trying to walk 2 or 3 times a week (about 2 miles a time) and the rest is just running about at work and after the kids. I am thinking of going swimming tomorrow and for a long walk. Trying to be positive.
The measurement idea is good.
Thanks for the support0 -

I'm sure my OH and DD would prefer me to take you Honey :rotfl:
I'll certainly check out the sandwiches but I always go for the meal deal and don't like having a poxy cereal bar as part of it when there's a chunky bar of chocolate on offer!I haven't got one!0 -
Hi Bobsa, As the others say don't be too upset about it. Keep at it and it will move. I can agree with the not eating enough theory. Your body thinks its being starved and holds on to what it has (the fat) rather than burning it off. The more you eat (of the right things!) the better. It was suggested here a few pages back that you should ensure that you have your healthy extra A and B portions as well as your syns. I am often guilty of not doing that and am making an effort to include them to see if it helps me.
Good Luck
Update on tea: SW chips and "fried" egg. Delish.....!0 -
I was only joking about the Boots lunch! Have a great time (although I am V jealous
). You'll be able to pick up suncream etc for your holidays with your points. (which I am also jealous of :rotfl: )
