It's certainly giving you a good boost going by your weight loss so far and if you're feeling ok, good for you. Will you go to SW or just do it from home?

    Hi Sharl,
I have actually found the diet easy. I can post it on here for you or pm it if you want. (not sure if you are allowed to post actual diets on here)
Basically I have used all the ingredients for the cabbage soup diet only I have split them up to make two or three soups. Cabbage soup, tomato soup and celery soup, the only difference is, I have allowed myself a teaspoon of low fat creme fraiche in each bowlful of soup, and my goodness, does that make a difference to the taste! I have also kept on drinking tea with semi-skimmed milk. These couple of extras don't seem to have stopped me losing weight and if you follow the sw diet, then I have only had a couple of sins a day. SW should be a walk in the park now as I will be able to introduce so many more foods next week. Big problem tho, next week going on holiday but I am going to try real hard not to blow it.
    Will keep you posted.

I am going to try to do it at home. Did SW for three years but couldn't sustain it for long enough to lose the two stones I had to lose. Went through a divorce and managed to lose a stone on a diet of chocolate and cigarettes (not recommended!) but then met a new man gave up the fags and put on 4 stone! He has also put on 3 stone since we have been together so now it is do or die!
How long have you been dieting?

I have been eating healthily! since 10th January and am almost at target. I go on my hols a week on Friday so whatever I am next Tuesday at weigh is what I will declare my target to be. I then need to remain within 3lb either side of my target so hopefully won't put on too much in 3 weeks, we'll see!
Where are you going next week? Somewhere sunny?

Yes, hopefully. We are going to Gibraltar. Not sure what to expect!
I think you are very sensible setting your target weight at what you have naturally arrived at. Well done!
You are right about the 'healthy eating' view and not 'diet'. It is, most definitely, for life! I know too well how rapidly the weight goes back on when you start to let the convenience foods (not to mention chocolate) creep in. I seemed to keep my weight stable when I ate Slimming World Style for five days and then ate whatever I wanted on the other two. You've just got to eat consciously I think.
It is frightening tho, that I have put on 4 stones in total since leaving SW, however, I feel so much better having eaten only natural foods for 4 days that I will try my hardest to make this the basis of my eating plan for life. I have been using the soups, which I make on a morning (only takes about 15 mins) as a convenience food, and it seems to be working.

    Hi all,
I do still eat the SW way, though I have been known to go to pot round Christmas time, lol (unfortunately put on quite a bit since my Christmas lasted about a month!!!). Someone asked for recipes to be emailed to them - I'm a bit thick at this techy stuff and don't know how to do it through this board and I don't recommend putting any email addresses on here. However, I'll certainly post on the recipe board. What sort do you want, savoury or sweet? I hate recipes with long lists of ingredients too, mine are quite short and easy. My class is actually tonight (West Yorks) so I'll have to go soon, but will get posting tomorrow if that's ok.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Excellent consultant31, short and simple recipes, sweet and savoury with low syns are good for me. I'm a green day gal, being a veggie. Thanks in advance, I will watch the OS Losing Weight Recipe Thread tomorrow with mouth drooling!
