honey28 wrote:Hi Consultant 31 - Welcome to the thread!
Are you a SW consultant? Maybe you could offer some useful tips/advice? Also, we have a recipe thread over on Old Style Board - you may find some new ones there, or maybe you could share some? What plan are you following -if not SW?
Yes I'm a SW Consultant. I'm very willing to offer help where it's needed, and I have loads of recipes, if anyone wants any, you only have to ask.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Oooh thanks consultant31. We have an thread on the OS board called Losing Weight recipes. (If you go to the 1st page of this thread) and click on the link HERE (other not working) and please post as many as you like. If you post them on here, they get lost but over there I index them and they are much easier to find.
I am a member of SW and have found it has really helped but get stuck for recipes sometimes - chips, chips and more chips SW style of course!
Do you mind me asking where your class is?
OS Losing Weight RecipesI haven't got one!0 -
Oh and just another question, as a consultant, do you still adhere to the SW plan? My consultant isn't a very good advert for the plan without meaning to sound rude...I haven't got one!0

Hi Everyone,
Finally a thread I can really get into. I've been struggling with my weight for a really long time. I had to lose 4 stone to get infertility treatment but got pregnant by myself after losing 2! I've now put that 2 stone back on again following the birth of my son 6 months ago (that's why I'm dellybelly). I've a long way to go after that. Is anyone else following ww? How are you finding it?Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Hi Dellybelly and Welcome! Congratulations firstly on the birth of your son, and secondly on the weight loss! 2 great achievements!
I'm not personally following WW but there are a few on here who are and I'm sure that they will be along shortly to help you out.
Hi Lynette - Sounds like a good time was had! Back on track now though so don't beat yourself up about it.
Going back to the conversation last night about green days/red days on SW I've had about 3 red days in the past 3-4 months as I find it hard to plan what to eat on these days and never felt full. I've lost a stone on green days alone. However, our consultant did say that for a boost red days help lose quicker. Some of my class do this and it seems to work for them. Maybe consultant31 could help with this query??0 -
Hi DellyBelly, congrats on the baby. OH and i are trying (only for about 6 months so far - i think deep down i knew my weight would be a problem when trying, so now resolved to do something about it).
Hello to everyone else who has joined recently, and in my absence :j
Thanks for your post Honey, yep walking back into class was hard, but only the thought of it. I have gone back to where i used to live (about 30 miles away) as my old consultant is an absolute star!!!!! She welcomed me back with no judgement at all. I signed up last night for a count down (10 weeks), so i don't back out this time. Feel really positive today. And have a new snazy purple folder and book to get me back on the straight and narrow!!!
I'm still going to do my scrap book, just need to update as i kind of had a false start last time. :rotfl:
Good luck everyone this week. What's he building in there???
Debt at highest £30,450 (Dec 05)
Debt at lowest £9, 113 (Jul 07)
How much did we over spend whilst on maternity leave :mad:0 -

Hi dellybelly congrats on your baby :j i do ww im doing the point one i have found that better for me as i know exactly how much im allowed to eat i tried the no count but as i was worried about over eating i did the opposite and didnt eat enough so didnt lose much ive lost 18lbs so far but its very slow i find that when i have "naughty" weeks when ive had more points than i should have i lose more so at the moment im experimenting with the points trying 1 more point each day and see if that makes more of a difference
what plan are you following no count or points
good luck and let me know how your getting on0 -
