badmood.gif Not happy. I've been sooooooooo good all week and lost only ½lb. I went on a set of scales in town this morning before SW and they say that my ideal weight is 8lb light than I am and the SW book also says that if I weigh in 2lb heavier I'm in the overweight range

Who writes these books and makes up the rules anyway? readit.gif

Well you lot have been busy on here :rotfl: I looked in at lunch time at work and it was quiet, I get home and you've all been having a right old chit chat!!

CM - Well done :T - 1/2lb is better than nothing although I know what you mean about "only 1/2". You feel annoyed because you put in 100% effort. You've done well so far and its bound to slow down at times. It's lovely to hear you say that you are happy with the weight you are at now, its something that you rarely hear . Be proud!

I have never set a target with my consultant - should I have? Do you speak to your consultant individually at your class? Ours takes the format that you are weighed (not by the consultant as she is talking to new members) then we have a group talk. Do all SW classes follow this format?

I'm looking forward to some new recipes. Apart from SW chips I'm getting bored with same things. Oh, has anyone tried Mug Shots - I'm sure I noticed them mentioned on here - free on green and quite tasty. Very handy lunchtime snack.

Thanks honey for your lovely words of support.

In answer to your question, I have never set a target either and yes, we follow the same pattern as your group.
I must check out the mugshots, they sound great.

Hi pepsi girl are you going to stay with us, are you at target?
    I haven't got one!

Hi Pepsi Girl - Thanks for that, I knew someone on here had mentioned them! I had only seen the noodle ones in my Tesco - I tried the spicy sweet n sour today and it was lovely. The bonus was that they were 3 for £1! Moneysaving - tastic!!:rotfl:

    Thanks for the welcome,
I've only been doing ww for 2 weeks now, Loopylass and I've lost 41/2 lbs which I'm really pleased with. I followed the no count for the first week cos I knew my willpower was really high but have decided that I'm never going to learn to deal with my trigger foods unless I learn to limit myself so have now decided to follow the points one. (besides, it's much easier!)

Before I joined ww, I followed Dr. Phil's ultimate weight solution, Rosemary Conley, weight watchers when they first introduced the points and ww before the points system when you counted carbs, milk, veg and protein. I've been trying to reduce my weight for a very long time..... I've lost and put on about 5 -7 stone over the past 12 years.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
