Well I'm back from a long weekend away, and although I haven't been on the scales yet, I'm not expecting it to be good...

BUT I have made a resolution to start afresh tomorrow.

I'm going on holiday in five weeks time so I've set myself a target to lose 10lbs by then - 2 pounds a week.

How? Lots of salads, and more exercise - it's that time of year when both things just seem that bit more 'do-able'!

So never mind the £2 club, I'm going to start a 2 pound club!

    LL
    Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.3

I agree with you loopylass. I seem to lose weight better when I've had a naughty day during the week. My mum turned 60 last friday and I still lost 2lbs even though I partied, ate cake and drank.

My ww leader will sometimes tell you to up your points or go easy on the exercise if you've plateaued for a couple of weeks. she also says that it can sometimes take up to 2 weeks for the weight loss to show if you've been really good and done loads of exercise... so maybe you're good weeks take 2 weeks to impact your weight?
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

    Hi Mclaren,
You will start to like yourself again and you have accepted the fact that you need to do something. I don't know about WW but Slimming World (SW) is £4.25 a week with a £5 (it's half price at the mo') joining fee. I felt like that when I started, utterly ashamed of myself but now Ireally do feel good. People are telling me that I look brilliant and when others notice it really does make you feel good.
We will always support and help you on here whenever you need it, so wipe the tears, give us a smile, kick yourself up the you know what and today is the start of your jouney.
Come on, we KNOW you can you do it.

    Me Too :D

Lois - I'm loving your 2lb club - great idea! I'll join you - although this week is toughie.Being really good all week because I am at a family BBQ at the weekend (Sunday) and want to be able to have a nibble at it, weigh in Monday!

Mclaren - I think Cheekymoles post says it all - we will be here to support you - you can do it. The weigh in you had this morning - take that as a kick start. Go food shopping today and rid your cupboards of the bad things - no temptations. Don't forget to come on here on good days and bad days - we all come on and have a moan every now and then! Good Luck

does anyone eat brown rice/pasta. I am doing SW and have just managed to get into eating brown bread. The Warburtons (I love it!) Thought I might be brave and try brown rice and pasta (big gulp) - can anyone recommend some nice tasting ones (if there is such a thing!)

    Thanks in advance
