Try THIS instead and then go to the last page and start posting - good luck (and it's not you consultant31, that link doesn't work anymore, I will contact Pink and ask her to fix it)

Without a doubt I found SW to be much better than WW (my opinion only of course). I was often hungry with WW and once I'd got to target I soon found the weight creeping back on as I ate enough to feel full. With SW I'm NEVER hungry - there's always loads of food you can eat, and it's not rabbit food either.
i was imaginine that it was going to be like "eat 1 riveta a day" kinda place. i do like salads but i cant eat them every day lol. when they say though "you can eat anything" it seemed a bit "aye right" to me - i would love to eat chocolate but that puts on weight so its a no no lol :(

is it a points scheme or that you have to go by?
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.

WW is a points thing, SW is different. Red days you can eat meat and green days pasta, rice potatoes. On both days there are loads of free foods to fill up on and you can also have up to 15 syns a day to incorporate your chocolate craving. I love SW as I'm never hungry on it

A typical green day for me would be:
    Breakfast
couscous with fruit and a Mullerlight (all mixed together, yum)
    Lunch
Large jacket potato with large tin baked beans in
    Tea
Big dish pasta with tomato based sauce and prawns seved with salad.
    Snacks (if I've got room)
    Fruit
    Syns
Glass wine with tea and Chocolate Options at bedtime (about 10 syns in all)

I have a very big appetite and I honestly never get hungry. I rarely have Original (red) days since I'm not much of a meat-eater, but if you like it then that's the plan for you. You can have ANY lean meat (no skin on), any fish and a measured amount of potatoes or pasta to go with it. My daughter has been known to eat a whole chicken during the day!! :rotfl:
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

    Hi Consultant31,

Yes it seems contradictory about the chickens, I eat them for free but obviously if I wasn't loosing then I would have to concider syning them. It's a shame we can't get the syn values for stuff.

I live in west yorkshire where about are you? tis a big place I know. I live in Leeds.

I'd never have thought of mixing couscous with muller light - sounds weird?

You mention that you have pasta with a tomato based sauce - Cheekymole mentioned in a previous post that she had pasta with a similar sauce and cheese - What way are you both making the sauce -do you use a tin of tomatoes as a base?

BTW - Thanks consultant31 for the recipes and the time you took to type them up - will def be giving a few a try.

Hi Honey, I chop up 2 onions and fry in a bit of water with some garlic and chopped peppers. I then add a tin of chopped tomatoes with herbs and season. Simmer until some of the juice has boiled away and serve on a bed of spag sprinkled with 42g ½fat cheese. Free on green if cpounting cheese as healthy extra. Tasty and filling.
