Is there anybody out there trying weight watchers, I have been going for a few weeks and find it a struggle, especially cooking for me and the hubbie and 2 children, want to get to goal quick ( 1 1/2 stone to go ) keep trying to think of not having to pay £5 a week but if I have one bad day that puts me off for the whole week, is there any ww experts who have struggled to begin with, also any cheap ww recipes would be appreciated
    :j

Hiya im new to this thread just came across it, i do ww have been for a few weeks but to be honest wasnt really sticking to it, but 2 weeks ago i just got into the right frame of mind and ive been really trying, i lost 3lb last week, i am a single parent with 3 kids so i struggle sometimes.
if i have a bad day i just start afresh the next day, stick at it.

    Guys,

Sorry to have a moan, but can we please not chat on the Losing Weight Recipes Board.
The condition of it being started as a new thread was that we wouldn't chat there.

    Thanks in advance

    CM x

Hi Everybody - well done on all your weight losses this week and mountain climbing challenges!_pale_

Just jumped on the scales and found I have lost 1lb. I'm happy with that 'cos I haven't exactly been angelic this week. I did go to my first 'Dance Aerobics' class, but last Thursday was our 10 year anniversary so I didn't go tap dancing as we went out to the Cinema and then for a meal at the local Chinese Buffet restaurant where they have all the crispy duck you can eat and a chocolate fountain too! I nearly had to be restrained from doing a 'Vicar of Dibley' with the chocolate fountain, I can tell you!

Anyway, back to normal this week. I shall aim to cook nice healthy meals, get my exercise in and hopefully we will see a bigger weight loss next Sunday. A week on Tuesday is my 30th so bet that'll be another week where I'd be glad to maintain but we shall see....

    TTFN

Hi Sharl - Its fine to chat on here - the thread over on OS was set up for recipes only and on the condition that it would be strictly recipes only and that chat kept for here.
(Cheekymole - sorry for jumping in!)

Welcome to littlecheeza and derbylady - good luck with the weight loss - and looking forward to hearing more from you both
    Benjacksmum - well done :T

I've had a bad week - home from hols last weekend and had been off the diet for 3 weeks while I was away - I can't get myself disciplined now that I am back. I've had a go at it, start off ok with b'fast and lunch but then the afternoon and evening go pear shaped. I think today I will read over my SW book and start afresh. (aka a kick up the backside :rotfl: )

Have a good Sunday everyone - no nibbling!

    Hi Sharl,

YES, it's fine to chat here (as much and as often as you like) but if we chat on the Losing Weight Recipes thread over on the OS Board then the board guides might take it away (and we don't want that to happen!)

If there is a specific question about a recipe over there, then (I think) it is ok to ask but general chit chat is not allowed.

Hope that has cleared that up and sorry if I didn't explain well enough.

    Hi,
Congratulations to everyone who has lost / maintained! There seem to be lots of losses this week!!
Thank you to CheekyMole for the recipe thread, a fantastic idea!! Off to make the veggie lasagne now :-)
Had a bit of a bad week myself, put on 1lb. Putting this down to the amount of gin I drank when my Gran died on Saturday and the fact that I was eating hospital food most of that week and chocolate! I am hoping to get back on track again now and since after the funeral (which we will just write off as a bad debt as I drank a lot!!), have been very very good :-)
Back off to the gym today, did some swimming yesterday and determined to get the weight shifting again, only 9 weeks to go until I go to Mallorca with DH & the children, it would be nice to look OK in a bikini rather than eurgh!!
Hope everyone (including me!) has a good week!
Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A

    Great minds think alike :rotfl:

Mrs Yatsey - sorry to hear about your Gran - I wouldn't be too annoyed about the 1lb this week. Hugs to you and your family.

    Mrs Yatesy,

1lb is nothing considering what you've been through. Hugs to you.
