    Hi all!
I've put this on the freebie board but I thought it may be useful here too!
I emailed slimfast last week to ask for some free samples and money off vouchers (well IMO if you don't ask you don't get, lol!) Didnt hear anything back until this morning in the post I received 2 yoghurt muesli meal replacement bars and a nice little book with recipes and inspirational ideas to help you lose weight! It even has a page where you can record your successes.

Why not give it a go?

Tootles - I would have a LOT more weight to lose if I lived in pork pie land :o

I think doctors often recommend low carb recipes because if you don't eat that much fat, they assume you must be consuming masses of carbs to keep your weight up. They recommended same to a friend of mine. It wasn't the same principle as atkins though (i.e. NO carbs, high fat) I think it was just to make it less frightening than calorie counting, but is essentially the same idea.

Its quiet on here today - hope that doesn't mean everyone is off eating:rotfl:

Reverie - good luck tomorrow - that'll burn off a few calories!

What's everyone having for tea tonight? I need inspiration - feel more SW chips coming on again!

Honey, I'm cheating tonight and getting low fat pizzas from M&S for me and a friend as am going there for dinner. Is the weather nice where you are? Warm enough for a BBQ?

Its got nicer as the day has gone on and the sun is now shining - just in time for me leaving work in the next half hour! WE lent our gas bbq to a friend - I may very well go and get it back if this weather is to continue - its been a great week here.

Definitely SW chips for me tonight, got the quorn bacon too. Off to tesco for the shopping later (bribed DD!) so need to be very full before I go!

Just had a big thunderstorm here but it's bright again now
    I haven't got one!

OH is at a working supper tonight so I'm dining on my own, and I've opted for a ready meal from tesco's - chicken in white wine and leek sauce with mashed potato. It's less than 5% fat so fits into Rosemary Conley but would only be suitable on SW if I counted the chicken as a healthy extra. Ready meals never take up much room on the plate so I'll do some fresh veg to go with it - I've got some cauli and broccoli in the fridge.

We're going away for a long weekend tomorrow, so keep up the good work everyone! I'll be back next week, and hopefully I won't have gained weight (well not too much anyway).

Depends on the size of your glass of course! Most tumblers are half a pint, so that would be four pints, which is about 2.5 litres (I think).
