Thanks for that - it might help me calculate how I did yesterday as I'm following the SW diet but had a bizarre day where my eating and drinking didn't fit well into their 'categories' (free food, healthy extra's). Most of what I ate/drank classed as syns although over the day I ate much less than usual and also did 4 hours solid gardening (the heavy digging, lifting type).

I will try to get back on track today!

    Happy hols everyone :j

    Hi everyone :)

Just to let you know that the name of the recipe collection thread held on Old Style is now called:-

    Losing Weight Recipes Collection

and the link to it is:-

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=180748

It would probably be a good idea if this was added into the first post in this thread to make it easier for people to find when they need it :)

It's so hard with all the chocolate temptation all around. Next year I'm going to ban Easter eggs :rotfl: :rotfl:

Put it down to a bad day Lyndsay and start afresh today ;)

2nd Weigh in today and I've lost 1lb. I'm a bit disappointed but that is 7lb in a fortnight, so I know I shouldn't be unhappy.

Any advice on having a really good week next week appreciated.

I think I was snacking a little bit so I've got to get over that.

Has anyone else on SW had a similar thing where they have a really good first week and then second week a bit rubbish?

Half a stone is an amazing loss in just two weeks, after such a loss in the first week, Im amazed that you managed to lose even a pound this week, a pound a week is a good loss, after the first week aiming for a pound is a healthy way to do it, if you set your expectations too high you are aiming for failure and dissapointment. My first week I only lost 1.5lbs and the second week I lost the same, but its sticking with it that counts and I am now three and a half stone lighter.
The first week will have been mostly water weight, rather than fat.
Keep it up, if I can do it anyone can.
Well done on your losses so far :T
    Pawpurrs x ;)

 Bobsa -7lb in a fortnight is fab, well done. Don't be too down about this weeks loss, 1lb is still good and I expect its because you lost so much the week before. If you continue to have a steady loss of 1-2lb a week it will be off in no time, and it's more likely to stay off this way - Well done!

Bettyboobs - Hello and Welcome to MSE and the Lose weight thread  Are you trying to lose weight yourself, are you following any plans? - we'd love to hear how you are doing. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. We also have a recipe thread, its over on the Old Style Board - there is a link to it in my first post on this thread. Looking forward to hearing more from you ;)

I wonder how Cheekymole is getting on in Sunny Tenerife  Maybe she'll pop on in a day or 2 for her "fix". Hi CM if you do !
    Only 2 days till i'm off, can't wait!!! :D :j
Have a good week everyone - stay good!
