I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • I was looking for help with broadband, so don't know how I ended up here - but am v excited to find a SW/weight loss thread! I lost about two stone last year, then stopped going cos I was bored with the SW consultant, and haven't lost anything since January.

Spag bol with Quorn is excellent, and if you add lots of mushrooms it makes it go further (have very hungry son!!). Also v filling and comforting for bad days - slice potatoes and put in shallow dish, pour some vegetable stock in to come about half way up. Cover and microwave until tender, then sprinkle with cheese (Sainsburys Good for you mature cheddar is nice) and put under grill until brown and bubbly. Can serve with Quorn sausages and lots and lots of veg.

Hello everyone! I started my new diet yesterday! My aim is to loose one and a half stone and get into a size 12 for my spring holiday next year... I have cut out my faverote snack = crisps, did not buy any with the weeks shopping.
so will go cold turkey... I will become a fresh fruit queen-it's all down to will power... did this before! I got from a size 16 to a 14.
Cutting out sweets and chocolate is not a problem as I am more of a savery person.I think I will have to watch the bread and pasta intake though.
    Hears hoping...:D
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Hello Honey 28, thank you for your input. I have not joined any slimming plan or club. My personal plan is just to eat less and weigh less...
So far today I have eaten Start and chopped up apple with milk. 2 mugs of coffee. mid morning-2 plums. Mellon and strawberrys, ham roll for lunch and for tea I am cooking 2 poached eggs with grilled bacon, 2 x toast. After the morning coffee intake I move on to glasses of cold water all day. I ditched the apple squash when we had that hot spell and have bought no more.
Please tell me about your diet?
