    Hi guys

Am after a bit of advice as, following on from only maintaining last week, I've been wondering whether i'm taking "eat as much free food as you like " a bit too far? I tend to do mainly green days (only had 2 red days since i started!) as I love my pasta and rice and love that I can have as much as I like! Also, haven't got much inspiration for red days! Here is what I have eaten/will be eating today, can anyone give any comments on if you think i am doing things wrong?

Breakfast: Shreddies (HEB)with milk from HEA allowance

Morning: a pear, a plum, a small tangerine, and 1 large chopped up raw carrot

Lunch: Plenty of rice with cucumber, tomatoes, raddishes, feta (HEA) and lemon juice

Afternoon: a pear, 1 large chopped up raw carrot, a banana ( may not eat banana if not hungry)

Dinner: Spaghetti bolognaise with lean mince (HEB) (0 syns)

Evening: frozen muller light , glass of white wine (as my syns for the day)

    Any advice appreciated!

This is an excellent food diary, you're doing really well.
There will be times when you get a maintain, or even a slight gain, but if you know you're following the plan, it will be a bit of fluid retention and will go during the following week. Be sure you're weighing and measuring your HEs and drink plenty of water (it will help to flush out your kidneys so that they work better).
Straight from the horses mouth (at SW head office) free food is just that - free...no weighing, no measuring!!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Yes all the flavours - but I know what you mean about having them lying around....they tend to call through the cupboard doors don't they?
Also the Alpen Light bars can be used the same, ie: 2 = 1 HEB.
I double checked with SW about these cos there have been rumours around for a while. It appears that you must eat 2 to get enough fibre for them to be a HEB, otherwise they are 3 syns each.

Eating two is compulsory? Oh no, however will I cope! ;)

    Hi All,

Well week one over and done with in Body Optimise - I was a bit wary of posting on week one incase it did not work. Weight loss this week was 3lb so quite pleased with the start and giving me the confidence to go onwards and upwards.
Trying to find something for dinner on green days now. I am really struggling as we don't really eat a lot of spices, peppers and the like. Looks like Jacket potato and salad for us.
You know, I went to a BBQ last weekend and thought I'd be good and only drunk Tropicana orange juice. never even figured but I could have wept when I saw it was about 40 since in a whole day just on juice. I always thought it was good for you. I guess that just goes to show.

    BM x

Congratulations on your weightloss and I'm so pleased you're so much more confident. It really does work and combined with the support on this board, you'll go from strength to strength!
Do you get the magazine? There are some 7 or 14 day plans to follow in each issue which will give you some good recipe ideas. Also have you looked on the recipe pages here? Pre-planning is the key to easier weight loss - try to vary your menus as much as possible to avoid boredom.
Fruit juice is synned because you don't get the benefits from chewing the fruit, eating the fibrous peel etc - it can take around 8 oranges to get a small glass of pure juice, which is too much fruit without any filling power.

Hi I have been reading about raw food, and how this can help in weight loss and general health. Is anyone a convert to this way of eating, if so could you give me any advice as to where I can find information and recipes?
    Thanks
