So am trying to lost a bit of weight for the summer (who isnt)
only i've had a bit of a bad day and feel the need to confess and possibly a suggestion as to damage limitation!
I was really really hungry when i got into work today and managed to eat two cereal bars for breaksfast (not the mega healthy ones the chocolate covered ones) instead of the yogurt and fruit i was planning to eat. And then I was soooo tired and stressed today I just kept munching and managed to eat two more cereal bars and then someone gave me a bag of pick and mix and I've managed to eat half of that as well!
    - so now am totally panicking as have probably just put on half a stone in about three hours! Is there a maximum amount of fat that you can absord in one day? Damage limitation - help!!

:rotfl: Don't panic, you truly won't have put on anything like ½stone. It takes 3500 EXTRA calories to put on 1lb of fat (that's extra to the normal 1500 - 2000 a day we need to live).
Having said that, SW doesn't do calories. If you're following SW, forget this blip and get back to the plan tomorrow with your normal 5 - 15 syns a day. Put it down to experience and be prepared for a snack-attack by stocking up on Hi Fi bars or the Ryvita Goodness Bars (2 are a HEB).
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Has anyone tried the Options hot chocolate drink - turkish delight flavour. I bought it by mistake one week, I meant to lift the Belgian Choc to try it. OMG - try the turkish delight ones - they are gorgeous - and only 2 syns either day!!

Evening everyone, well done everyone on your losses and maintains!!! Great stuff - and Pug - your Dad should be super motivated now :-)!
Personally, I put on half a pound, I am putting this down to my period, which I hope it is, as I had been almost good and had run 20km in the week to repent for the sneaky sausages I had on Sunday (please tell me that's not 1750 calories C_31!!)!! So, I am now very motivated for next week, have friends coming to stay but not worried as they dont drink much anyway and are veggie so just doing green days!!
Hope everyone does well this week!

How is everyone else today?? Is consultant31 on holiday - She hasn't been in for a while!

No, I'm here. I've just been really stressed for the last few days. I bought a quite expensive camera from someone on eBay (I know, I know!). I paid within minutes of the auction ending, then sat back waiting for delivery (supposedly next day).
After 7 days, I pulled his details and rang him, but the p*****k had his phone on permanent voice-mail. I sent him 3 emails which he didn't even bother to acknowledge
Twelve days later I have had to report him and only then did he decide to post it to me. I really thought I'd lost my money and had begun to panic.
All's well that ends well I suppose, but I don't think I'll be ebaying again for a while. _pale_

What sausages did you have, and how many? There are lots that are syn-free (or almost).
Has anybody tried the ones from the Joe's Sausages website? I'm told they're excellent, though I'm not much of a meat eater so haven't tried them myself. Apparently they're classified as syn-free and endorsed by Rosemary Conley. They're at https://www.joessausages.co.uk

    Thanks Ems and Consultant 31
3000 calories to put on a pound, that makes me feel much better!
Pears and rice cake snacks will be the order of the day for Friday! ;)

As you said, all's well that ends well but its awful to think that you may have been scammed. Glad it turned out ok - have fun with your new camera.

My absolute favourite, yum!! I had a recipe for Turkish delight made with strawberry Mullerlight and the Options Turkish Delight flavour, but I can't find it anywhere. Sorry, that was a really pointless post wasn't it - got your juices flowing for nothing, lol.
I'll keep looking, cos I rarely throw anything away!

I found it - you posted it on the recipe thread over on Old Style. I would have made it but I only had 1 options. I have already made myself a muller/banoffi substitute for later - 1 digestive, chopped banana, topped with toffee muller. Will have that once kids go to bed and I have peace to eat and enjoy it!!

Well done to pug and pug's dad! :T

Hope that'll be a huge motivator for both of you to keep at it!

Well done to Jenpobtab too, of course :D
