I'm off for my second weigh in, since starting WW, hopefully I'll lose again. Have struggled to use all of my points this week and have found myself having lots of sweet things. i am going to try No Count again this week and hope to find that easier again.WW Gold Member, trying to maintain !!!Hayden born July 07Tabitha born April 05Poppy born July 030

Yeah I agree swimming is a great form of exercise but she has told me not to do it unless I keep my head in the water while swimming because my posture will be all out if I keep it lifted out of the water and that will agrivate my back - I have 2 prolapsed discs, thanks to 2 pregnancies  I can't swim with my face in the water!! She also told me to walk up and down the water or do sideways steps - won't I look like a right twit doing that!!!
I can do walking and so am trying to increase it each day. eg today I got off the train and walked to work - sometimes I get the bus from the train station although it isnt very far - I always used to get it when it was raining. Today I went armed with hood and walked!! When I was coming home I left work 10 mins earlier and walked to the further away train stop (work is sort of in the middle of 2 stops). Its only a small bit but I figured it was a start.
Have been good so far today. Am going to take Jens advice and put the dinner on now, I can always have a muller light later if I am hungry. Although its so cold today I might go to bed :rotfl:
OH knew I was depressed yday and brought me home a peanut butter kitkat chunky -bless, he meant well and NO, I havent eaten it yet!!13 1/2 syns :eek:0 -
Good Luck Jenpoptab - let us know how you get on.0

mmm... peanut butter kitkat....
dont tempt me, theres a spar right next to my SW meeting!!
going to second weight in tonight, ill let you know.
honey have you tried cycling? thats what i've been doing this week, certainly builds up a sweat, don't know if that'd be ok on your back?Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself. Oscar Wilde0 -

I'm stuck at work until i go to RC class to weigh. Have forgotten my bliddy trainers as well so will just weigh in then go home without exercising
Also i'm wearing work clothes that will weigh differently from normal (i normally step onto the scales with my trainers on cause i'm that lazy) so won't even get an accurate reading.
Ever wish you hadn't got out of bed?
Honey, at aqua aerobics we do alot of walking around in the water and side steps and stuff and you can tell that it's working! Unfortunately we do alot of other exercises that wouldn't be suitable for a bad back otherwise i'd totally recommend it. You feel silly doing some of it but there's lots of other silly people doing it too
Hope to hear about lots of weigh losses (including my own inaccurate one!)when i next check the board tomorrow. Good luck guys0 -
Well its only my 3 rd weigh in today and i have only maintained!Even though I did have a total pig out at the weekend it was only like what i used to eat all the time, and have been good the rest of the week (even stuck to diet coke in last night wathching the match - no alcohol at all!)so thought i may have lost 1lb! Oh well. A bit gutted but have realised have got to be more determined, last week i was starting to be like my MIL who does follow SW but only for 3 days a week ! Rest of the week she eats and drinks normally! ( needless to say she doesn't lose any weight!)
Hope everyone else has done well! Off to have my tea now - syn free veggy curry and rice. Have nothing "bad" in the house so I won't be tempted to pig out to cheer myself up!0 -
hello everyone,
Well i thought i had been dead bad last week but i weighed in 4lb lighter, how cool is that!!! :T
ive only got 4lb to go for a stone off, im well chuffed and so motivated, gonna try and have a 100% week this week, just gonna take it a day at a time tho.
good luck everyone for the coming week with your weigh-ins0 -
Hi everyone,
I just thought I'd share a link I've found in this month's Weight watchers magazine. It's https://www.powerpramming.co.uk
It's mainly for new mums but can be used by anyone with a child in a buggy. Apologies if you've already heard of it. If there isn't a group near you, Liz will send you an e-mail with an exercise plan on it. (if only I had known of this 6 months ago!)
Well done on the 4lbs off Nicanoo.... Ems, several people on this thread have told me that a maintain is better than a gain... so well done for not putting on any weight. Good for you for recognising you're not as strict with yourself as you should be. I'm sure you'll have a great week this week.
Good luck this week everyone.
