Savvy_Sue wrote:I bet it wasn't as big as my birthday cake, had to get a catering size one from CostCo because Somerfield was shut (and DS didn't MAKE me one while I was out for the day because "no-one reminded me!"
Did I need reminding to make HIM cake? He says he can't remember ...)
It's a rather good cake, to make matters worse ... :rotfl:
Missed your birthday too Savvy_Sue, hope it was a good one:beer:0 -

What a lovely day! Our friends are now on their way home and I'm sitting under a parasol outside in the garden - the joys of wireless technology
:):)
Today has been good as far as keeping to SW is concerned - fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and then barbecue lunch - salmon, low fat sausages, steak, and chicken and vegetable kebabs, with lots of salad, followed by tropical fruit salad and fromage frais (Lois polishes her halo and looks angelic!). Haven't even touched a drop of alcohol...
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Pleased to hear you got your purse back Ros. What are WW stones?
Happy Birthday Cheekymole - enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Brilliant! I'm so pleased for you. They must have wondered why you carried stones around in your purse though :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Waaaa, it's not nice here, windy and drizzling, you'd need to tie your parasol down or you'd be off like Mary Poppins.
Please send some sunshine my wayI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Good stuff Ros, glad it's back where it belongs. These people need shooting.
Maybe we could hang the little so and so's upside down on the bottom of Rita Queen of Speed when we go to Alton Towers tomorrow???
Have been quite good this weekend, went out last night for a meal and a few drinks, but stuck to G&T (slim line) and had stemaed vegetables with boiled rice and cashew nuts, and prawns in soy sauce (starter). Had saved my B choices for it, so hoping I have not done too much damage!!
Ran 5km uphill on the treadmill Saturday morning and 20 mins on the cross trainer in the knowledge of what was coming!!
Today we have had people over for a BBQ tea for the kids (& us!) and have had home made burgers (really nice - and syn free!!), low fat sausages and lots of salads and then fruit salad for pudding (without the ice cream everyone else had!).
Have to plan what we can eat tomorrow at Alton Towers, I think I've only ever seen chip stands there!!!
Off out on my bike to cycle off those G&T's from last night!
Have a great week.Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A0 -
Hi all!
I have lost 6lb so far, the thing is, excersise!!!! I dont know where to start!
I am a single mum of a 2year old, and i work 16 hours a week so i dont really get anytime to go to the gym or and classes, and to be honest i havent got the self confidence to go anyway!
I was thinking about maybe getting an excersise dvd or something, i generally need to tone up, but the main area which needs sorting is my belly! god its flabby!
Does anyone have any tips or experience with excersise dvds?:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0
