Those bhajis are not quite free as the fried onion Smash is synned.
This recipe is free - though a little more trouble than the Smash, they are very nice.
1 Tin chickpeas
1 tspn curry powder (or to taste)
1 large onion, chopped finely
Drain and rinse chickpeas and then puree them. Fry the onion in Fry Light until soft.
Mix pureed chickpeas, onion and curry powder together and form into balls.
Bake in the oven for around 15 minutes at gas 3 (325/170º)I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

½lb off every week adds up to nearly 2 stone in a year :TI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Hi all - some great results this week, well done everybody
Welcome to Ems! our only new member this week - good luck with your first week.
Here are the latest results - if I've missed anyone or made any mistakes let me know and I'll change it. You can post changes on the board, pm me, or send me an email.
I managed half a pound, making a total of 1.5 pounds - not quite the 6 pounds I was aiming for by now, but I'm determined to have a good weight loss this week. I haven't got anything coming up that can throw me off course, I'll walk to work everyday, I've been on an 8 mile cycle ride tonight, and I'm going to join RC on Thursday (for the exercise). The other thing I need to do is make my mind up whether I'm doing RC or SW, cos I keep getting myself mixed up! lol
Have a great week everyone!

Question for Consultant 31....
Below is a recipe for SW style crisps...would these be okay on the green plan or would they have to be sinned ?
Slice as many potatoes as required with a potato peeler so they are thin slices.
spray plenty of frylight onto a plate
place sliced potatoes onto the plate in a single layer
another squirt of frylight and salt to taste
put in microwave for 5 mins or until potatoes are cooked and crisp
I found this in the same forum the Onion Bajis were on.
I'm not going to try these until I know!Must learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on in a while, I've been enjoying the sunshine while it lasts. Congratulations to everyone who lost or maintained, keep your chin up to anyone who's put on, you'll get it back off again and welcome to the thread for anyone who's joined us.
I'm pleased to say that I've lost another 1lb this week. That's despite the bbq on saturday and loads of junk food over the weekend.:j
Whilst I'm happy with 1lb off, I can't help but wonder what my wi result would be if I could just manage to be good over the weekend.
Can anyone advise me of how they cope with the weekends? I am absolutely on top form during the week:A , but come friday night I give in to temptation. and I seem to undo most of my hard work from during the week. Remember, the weekend shouldn't be that big of a deal for me as I'm still on maternity leave. I'll not be returning to the world of work for another 4 weeks:T .
Thanks.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am pleased to say that i was pretty good this weekend despite going away. I cooked 2 nights ( we were in a caravan), but decided to have a meal out one night - i stuck to salad though I asked for the dressing separate I pored about 1/3 of it on! My main downfalls were having 2 slush puppys (figured this was better than the icecream that I really wanted!), and of course, alcohol, i stuck to spirits and diet coke though so not as bad as wine or lager!
I know i should only weigh myself once a week but couldn't help myself - and I have lost 2lbs since I started last wednesday! Am pleased but know i shouldn't have in case i put some back on by wed then I will be disappointed!
Keep up the good work everyone!!0 -
Well done Ems!! That's a great beginning on a really hard weekend! Even if you end up putting something on between now and Wednesday, you have made a great start by losing or maintaining when you were away for the weekend!
Ros - that lotion was Factor 50 so it weighed a lot!!!!
Have a good week everyone!Misguided maybe, but never really bad!! :A0 -
