Re misuse or abuse of certain foods, when I started doing SW foods like canned macaroni cheese and spaghetti bolognese used to be free food on green, and I found they made an easy lunch, something I could take to work and heat up in the microwave. It worked for me - I was losing weight regularly. Then SW decided they shouldn't be free foods anymore, and the reason was that people were abusing them - for example making lasagne using liquidized macaroni cheese for the sauce! I know SW isn't based on calories, but can you imagine the number of calories that would be?
Corned beef used to be free on original, which I found quite surprising too, given its fat content. I used to do the SW corned beef quiche as a main meal, probably every other week (and lost weight). But I guess people were eating it by the tin, and wondering why they didn't lose weight!
In my opinion some people take SW free food to extremes, which is fine, if they are losing weight, but if they're not they blame SW and say it doesn't work. As with all eating regimes, moderation is the key. I got on well with SW because I knew I didn't need to go hungry. On WW when you run out of points the only option is to choose from the very limited list of free foods, and for most people vegetables or salad don't satisfy you when what you really want is a bacon butty or a bar of chocolate. With SW there are so many free foods that you can usually find something satisfying.
My SW consultant was very good at spotting what people were doing that might be stopping them losing weight - like not having enough variety. When I keep a food diary, I'm often struck by how boring my menu's can be - for example every day this week I've had porridge for breakfast and salad for lunch, muller light and fruit for snacks, and used most of my syns for red wine. I like porridge and salad, but maybe I'd do better with more variety.

Well bean curd is just another name for tofu, which is free on green, and I think on red too. There'd be syns in the oil though, and since tofu is quite porous it could absorb quite a lot if fried.
Don't know if that helps at all.Sealed Pot Challenge 5 - #1742 :j0 -

Happy Birthday Cheeky Mole!
I'm having a bad day today - someone stole my purse from my handbag while shopping in morrisons today - so I have spent the afternoon asking for replacement cards and in the police station - I'm making WW cheesecake tonight as my emotional crutch - I loved my purse and it had my WW stones in it
Luckily I found my cashpoint card for my emergency account -so I can still get cash without rip off credit card withdrawal charges0 -
Ros, you might get it back. Mine was taken from the house, it had the babies pictures in. An old man found it in the road 15 mins from the house, collected all my personal bits and handed it in. It was empty, but I got my bits back.((())) to you. Mine was taken from the house while I was upstairs bathing the babies. Make sure you add all that was in it to the police record.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0

That's dreadful, I'm so sorry. I hate little b******s like this, there's such a lot of personal stuff in a purse which is no good to them, they're just after the cash. I do hope you get your bits back - my friend did when her bag was stolen from the rest room at work. They took out the cash and lobbed the bag over a wall, horrible little rat-bags!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
