I finally plucked up the courage to see the doctor, and I told her I'd been putting off the appointment because I was afraid of what the scales would say. She checked the scales and said, "Well, you weigh less than you did last time." In December I was a little over 11st (I think. I only squinted at the scales) - now I'm 10st10lb.
I'm astonished. I know I put weight on since my last check-up six months ago - my clothes had been getting tighter and tighter (some to the point of being unwearable) - but it seems that in the last sixteen days of following the SW plan I've lost whatever weight I gained in that six months, and then some! My BMI is now at 26, and I guess I must have lost at least 5-6lbs - and perhaps more. :j I could feel it was working, but I have to admit I was very surprised by that result!
That's brilliant! How encouraging for you to have felt the difference so quickly. Keep it up :A:beer: My glass is half full :beer:0 -

White crusty bread upsets me too, but it's so lovely, sob, sob  . Do you know, I think I was much better last time I lost the excess weight, so that's obviously something to do with it!Must try harder.....
Thanks for the advice :T:beer: My glass is half full :beer:0 -
I never eat white bread and I am on the wagon with chocolate. Of all things they upset me the most, so I have dumped them. I also have unsweetened soya milk now.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0

I suspect I have a milk intolerance, I only have a splash of skimmed in tea and none in coffee but the thought of soya milk makes me ill, my children had baby milk made from Soya and it was disgusting. Does it taste ok now? I am talking about the stuff from mid to late 80's I almost had to resort to a clothes peg on my nose at feeding time.:eek:0 -
It tastes really good but only if you buy the right one! The nicest I have found is the Asda long life organic in a litre carton for 99p. Aldi is my next fave, in the chiller, long life around 59p. I always get the unsweetened, you have to shake it as it settles before you use it. Smells nice, not like gross formula! Think it has come a long way, try the Asda one. Good on cereal too, I prefer it now.Space for rent, apply within - Free trial on Thanks button though0

fox2319 wrote:Consultant 31, could you tell me the cost price of the new food directory from meetings, please? That way I will know how much money to take! Also, how often do the food directory updates come during the year? Thanks!
It's £6.95. They are updated every year, though I'm not sure you really need to buy it that often. Every second one would probably do, unless you're one of these people who love to buy all the new stuff as it comes out, lol.
Also, there is often a leaflet updating food values in the magazines.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
