    Thanks for the suggestions Consultant31. The only problem is, you can still eat when you're relaxing in the bath:rotfl: I've done this before.....:p I suppose it would be difficult to eat with wet nail polish on fingers... but I don't have nails worth talking about. I keep them short so I don't scratch DS.

    As for having someone gorgeous give me a massage. I don't think my OH would be very happy about that.... But I can always dream.... George Clooney, Johnny Depp.... :whistle:

    :rotfl:
    Hmmm I wonder why you didn't assume I meant your gorgeous OH!!!!
    As for eating in the bath - why didn't I think of that? :D
    I let my mind wander and it never came back!

  • Hello Everyone!

    Help - I could do with a few suggestions!

    Have been doing SW since before Christmas and am very happy having lost 1st 10lbs, and being able to fit back in to some of my clothes that I had become too big for!

    I am about 2lbs under my 'Club 10' weight, but for the last four weeks I have stayed the same, and I'm starting to get irritated with it! I'm still overweight according to the charts, and I'm certainly not 'slim' - ideally I'd like to lose another 14-21lbs.

    I'm vegetarian, so I'm on the green choice every day. I don't cheat (don't usually feel the need to, and have pretty strong willpower at the moment!) and I have 8-10 syns a day on average. I don't always have all four of my healthy extras, and I measure them all (except for skimmed milk, which I may exceed by 50-100ml on some days, but then I don't always have two A-choice HE's).

    I also cycle to work and back, although admittedly it is only about 12 mins each way. I do like my pasta and potatoes though, and tend to use these to fill up on when I'm really hungry, along with (v. low fat cottage cheese, quorn, bananas, apples, tinned spaghetti, etc.)

    The way I see it, my options are:

    1. continue as I am and hope that I start losing again soon, or;
    2. have a go at Success Express, and/or;
    3. do more exercise (maybe it's time to get back to the gym!)

    Does anyone else please have any other suggestions that may help?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi Steve,

    I don't know much about the SW plan, maybe Consultant31 will be able to help you there.

    My suggestion is, are you sure that you're eating enough food. If you read through this thread, you'll find that a lot of people plateau because they're not eating enough and their body goes into "famine mode" or something like that. Also, have you tried swapping your pasta etc for the wholemeal kind? You might find that you'll feel a lot more satisfied and eat a lot less.

    Also, if you combine eating a bit more food along with upping the intensity level of your exercise, you might find that you'll overcome your plateau. It doesn't have to be as much as joining a gym. What about trying to beat your best time cycling to/from work.... , try to make it in 10 minutes or less!

    Hope this helps.

    Dellybelly.

    Well Done Dellybelly, thats great for you.

    I went back to class after missing last week and falling off the wagon - I lost a pound! Happy days. I bought the new magazine so will read that later - i think I am focussed again.

    Steve - I'm sure consultant31 (who is a SW consultant) will be along shortly to offer some advice - in the meantime, well done on a fabulous weight loss so far :T

    Consultant31 - can you explain success express - (in easy terms :rotfl: its been a long day )

    Hi all - lots of people to add to the list this week, so welcome to all the newbies: Rachie77, Tina68, Katyk, Tryingtobegood, SparkyG, Astonsmummy, Janine, Cathys1, Nadnad, and Cats pajamas :):)

    Here's the list for this week with quite a few gaps - obviously lots of people have only started this week, so if anyone wants me to add their weight loss just let me know, either here on the board, or you can email me, or pm me.

    Well done Honey28, Dellybelly, Bobsa1 and SparkyG - good results. :T

    I had a disappointing result - I maintained - but I'm not giving up! There's a pair of jeans with my name on just 'weighting' for me to get into them! I've decided to do SW again instead of RC starting from tomorrow, although I may sign up for the RC classes, for the exercise. (Confused? yeah me too!)

    Have a good week everyone.
