I went to debenhams today and fit in a pair of size 12 jeans - they look tight on the legs of course - but did not give the 'muffin top' effect at the waist - so I bought them - my first pair under size 16/18 in about 6 years

This feels like the best reward after months of WW and avoiding chips!

Got the new issue of the slimming world magazine yesterday and tried makng the pizza for lunch with the boyfriend. Was delicious though i did eat 2 'servings' of it so that'll be my syns for the day not to mention my cheesey HEs! I recommend it, though have to admit we decided to have different toppings (fresh pineapple and mushrooms for me, f pineapple and ham for him) and the tomatoes were a bit runny so we might sieve them next time we do it. Yum yum though - never knew making pizzas was so easy!

Have made a sponge cake using the magazine's recipe for the 'strawberrys and cream' cake which i'm hoping will be edible enough to take to some friend's house for lunch tomorrow! Fingers crossed - i have sparodic success with cakes!

Anyway - will stop boring you with my food making escapades. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Yes please, I would like to join the 2lb club. Excuse my ignorance, but what do I do? (apart from losing 2lb a week:D )

Hi SparkyG - welcome to the club. All you need to do is post your weight losses on this thread each week, and I'll update the results list and post it every Monday.

Well done Ros - that's excellent! Will you continue doing WW and attending classes?

You're welcome SparkyG.:j The reason why it took me so long to post a reply to you was because I was feeling exactly the same way myself yesterday. I was thinking "enough already....I want to be thin" :p It was only when I was posting my reply that I realised how much support I can give everyone except for myself. I'm sure I appear like a real know-it-all sometimes, ok most of the time.:D What really happens is just what I've already said, I have unlimited support and patience for everyone except for myself and I've done this so many times before, I don't really need to attend a ww class for any reason other than the accountability to my ww leader each week.

I had a really bad day yesterday, I ate way more than I should have, far more points than I want to calculate  and while I was posting to you, I realised I need to cut myself some slack too!:naughty: I had resolved to be better today and not worry about my wi on Monday night. So, here I am, hoping to have maintained again this week and not worry too much if I've put on weight.
I resolve to give myself a break and try to stop the negative thoughts going through my head. And also, to stop wishing my life away in a quest to be thinner.
    Deep, don't you think....:rotfl:
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
