    Hi Everyone,

I agree that the support you get on this thread is amazing. It's almost as good as having the accountablility to my ww leader. I don't want to disappoint you guys either. I know that you'll be disappointed FOR me, but it's that extra incentive for me.:p also, it's great to see such positive feedback when you do lose weight. Some people are like 1/2lb? Is that all? where as everyone here is ... "whoo -hoo, that's great!":A

Had a girlie night out last night. I really needed it too. I wasn't too bad, I skipped dessert but did have 2 cocktails. Does anyone have any idea how many points would be in a long island ice tea? or a minty mudslide ?(bailey's, creme de menthe, cream and some kind of chocolate liqueur). I know it's bad, but it was also v. good cos it totally finished me off. I couldn't eat or drink another thing. I'm getting used to this eating till you're satisified and not stuffed ;) . My plans for the weekend are to pull back a bit after my indulgence last night, no I'm not suffering from guilt, I'd just like to make sure I do well this Monday and get my tubby doggie out for a few walks. Hopefully my OH will keep DS as I find pushing a pram really holds me back.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I'm so so so proud. I know to a lot of people taking pills might seem like cheating, but I am seriously obese, not just chubby, and this has changed my life so much already. I'm over the moon today because my boyfriend told me this morning how much thinner I look - not that he minds either way but dammit it feels great!!

I wanted to say thanks to all you guys - it's so good to have a place of support that doesn't charge you to go each week!!!!

    Hi Mirtos,

I have to say, I don't envy you taking xenical. I was prescribed it by my doctor a few years ago but I had so many bad side effects I had to stop taking it.

You should be proud of yourself, cos I know that you have to prove that you're willing to lose weight before you'll even be prescribed it. How much weight did you have to lose? Taking pills isn't cheating, look at all those ads for weightloss pills... you know the ones I mean. Other people take herbal remedies, why shouldn't you take something to help you along the way.

Well done on your achievements so far and keep up the good work! Let us know how you're doing.

  • Hi All!
Day 3 of my first week back on the SW plan and still sticking to it..:j :j
I've had 1 red day and 2 green days. I had lunch today with my friend who also joined SW this week so that really helps.
Her consultant said that it is not recommened to save your syns up any more just to have 10-15 a day. If you have a special occasion then do flexible syning(sp?). Has anyone else been told that.? I had 2.5 syns on Wed, 1.5 on Thurs but 14 today:D so hopefully that's still ok...

Went to the gym today for the 3rd time this week (actually the 3rd time since 2002:o ) I still quite enjoy the Curves thing! I can't actually believe I wrote that:rolleyes:

    Roll on day 4...:D
Must learn not to count chickens before they are hatched!!!!:D

Every day is a new challenge not a new problem!:p

    SW start 08/01/14 4/21lbs (1st target) :j

Thanks folksI will certainly have a look on ebay when I get a moment. Meanwhile I have eaten like a horse today - am I the only one who suddenly gets 10 times as hungry just cos she says today is the day the diet starts? -but have been true-ish to SW I think. So far have had 2 bananas, 6 baby apricots(fresh), 6 strawberries, 1 tin Heinz carrot & ginger LF Soup (400g), about 8 tiny baby potatoes boiled, 2 boiled eggs, about 3oz boiled rice, 1 tin (300g) 99% FF campbells soup, 5oz red kidney beans. I also had about 6 mugs decaff coffee with milk, 2 mugs herbal tea and 1oz cheddar. Am about to have 1oz bran before a bath and bed. WOW - a whole day without biscuits, crisps, alcohol or sweets!

    Well done Richard:beer:

Good to see you taking control rather than letting things slide (not that any of us would ever do that)

A couple of men came along to our RC class and seemed to fit in just fine.

Sheesh DellyBelly, I don't know how many calories would be in the minty mudslide, but it's no wonder it finished you off :rotfl:
