I resolve to give myself a break and try to stop the negative thoughts going through my head. And also, to stop wishing my life away in a quest to be thinner.
Deep, don't you think....:rotfl:
Yes, very deep:D but I know exactly what you mean! I try to be happy and confident with my body and get on with my life but it's not easy:o
To be honest, I am more fed up with the 'discomfort factor' in being overweight, rather than the way I look. I did go out for my walk this afternoon, but as the sun came out I got more and more uncomfortable and sweaty, especially under the bust. All you well endowed ladies will know what I mean.:p My inner thighs were rubbing together, and I felt really miserable and:mad: with myself!!! So what did I do when I got in? Well, eat of course! Admitedly I did eat allowed Atkins food, but far too much of it, and it was so unecessary as I wasn't even that hungry :wall:
Don't think I'll have lost any weight this week
Hope your wi goes ok, but don't beat yourself up if it's not good. Life's too short.....:grouphug::beer: My glass is half full :beer:0 -
well you lot are absolutley brilliant!
I found you about 2 months ago and have just been sat reading but now i feel cheeky and wanted to 'show my face'
i started SW last week and lost 5lb in my first week, this is the 4th and last time im joining and im gonna do it this time, we can all do it cant we?
I had my baby 8 weeks ago but already i weigh less than ive done in about 5 years so something must have worked there, but im still a size 20??
I dont really have an ideal weight, i think ill just know what it is when i get there.
Im looking forward to spending my time with you and giving advice where possible
thans for having me :j0 -
Hi Nicnacnoo - welcome, and congratulations for the new baby and for your 5lbs weight loss!
As you've probably noticed, there are plenty of us that do SW, and we have our own resident SW consultant now too!, so feel free to ask for help and advice. There are also SW recipes for you to try - click here.
Good luck with the weight loss

Very 'thin' gap between clip and body of pedometer, so impossible to get onto most waistbands! And it doesn't count very well either: adds on 45 every time I pull my trousers up and down for going to the loo! :eek:Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Well, just had my Monday morning wi and I've lost another lb:j
That makes my starting weight for the club: 12st 1lb
Hope to be well under 12st for my holiday in 3 weeks time:rolleyes:

Well Done SparkyG... I guess your overeating yesterday didn't have to big of an effect (maybe it helped you lose the extra lb - this thread is always talking about not eating enough)
Welcome Nicnacnoo, Congratulations on the baby and good luck with the weightloss.
I'm seriously considering quitting WW for SW... you guys are all doing so well. The only problem is, there's only one class near me and it's at 6.30 on a Tuesday which doesn't always suit.
Good luck this week everyone.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
I'm sticking with the WW -it's become a bit of a habit now - I still want to get to target, and I have a holiday at the end of July that i want to have energy for
I'd give the WW a little more time Dellybelly - which plan are you doing? there's no harm in swapping between Full Choice and No Count just to see what works best for you
You are right about eating the little extra - if your body thinks it's being deprived it will hang onto everything it's got at the moment so that you don't starve. The No Count plan works for me because you stop eating when you are satisfied -nearly full, so I think that the body doesn't worry about starvation and keeps your metabolism steady.0 -
Well aren't there a whole lot of new faces this week and isn't that just great! A big welcome to all of you from me!
Nicnacnoo - Congratulations on the baby - are you doing to post natal thing with SW? My cousin is following that and seems to be getting on ok.
Had a busy weekend - DD birthday celebrations which lasted 3 days! Not looking forward to getting on the scales tonight but I didn't go last week and have to go tonight or that'll be me back off the wagon completley. I don't know whats up with me but since my holidays I haven't been motivated at all. I need another holiday to spur me on to lose more weight :rotfl:
Its a great day here - albeit a bit blowy - Have a great bank holiday Monday folks!0 -
Hello all,
Why would my boyfriend bring me a huge piece of cream cake when he knows I'm trying to loose weight?

Hi Lois, I'm not sure I am a good candidate for the 2lb club...my weight seems to yoyo a little bit during the month and then I loose properly just after the star week... so over the month its heading in the right direction...Maybe I should join any how?Amazon Sellers Club member 0021/Ebay/carboot/extra hours junkie0
