Saks offer-WHY HAVE MSE REMOVED THE OFFER DETAILS FROMTHE EMAIL??

Hang onto those vouchers if you did not manage to book a haircut.

I've been in touch with Fabulous Magazine to ask why only 3% of readers were able to get the haircuts despite their mags promising 'every reader' would get one and why they gave away all appointments beofre the voucher was issued and they have replaied asking me to provide my full name and address and Marketing will be in touch.....

I will post back as soon as I hear more from them.

I was telling my stylist about this today and how my Mum and sister have been dissapointed by not being able to get an appointment.

The Manager said that they will honour this offer for any friends or family of clients so as to avoid any dissapointment for people. She also said that if anyone wanted to upgrade it they could have a colour for half price.

There are two salons one in Dukinfield SK16 and one in Ashton Under Lyne. She said if they called the salon and quoted the offer code "SKNW 2009" they would accept the booking

Salon telephone number for Dukinfield is 0161 303 1580, I am unsure of the Ashton one but if you call them they will give you the number.

It is on now on their profile on Facebook they are listed as two words Power cutzz ( dont think you need to be their friend to see but not sure), I have just put an appointment request in for my Mum

Seriously, would all those moaning about this ever get a life!!!! I have refrained from posting on this thread so far but honestly, complaining that you wasted £1/were on holiday when the offer came out has to take the biscuit!

I got an appointment (lucky for me) but took the chance of buying the paper and possibly missing out. I missed out on the Torres wine loophole as my local Tesco doesn't stock it, do you see me clogging up that thread with moaning and whingeing? No! You win some, you lose some. I am pleased for those who got the wine/points/deals and hope that I'll get something just as good in the near future.

Please stop this pointless nonsense as it may discourage MSE from bringing such offers to our attention and (even worse) discourage companies from making such offers available in the first place lest they incur the wrath of some MSE poster with a misplaced sense of entitlement.

That is my first and last word on the matter. To Martin and the MSE team, thank you for coming onto this thread and putting matters straight. And let's have no more moaning, please.

Hubbie made an appointment on Wednesday for yesterday without a problem. Yesterday they rang 2 hours be4 the appointment to ask if he could make it in an hour earlier. He couldn't and atthe same time he told them that he was stuck in traffic and pry wouldn't make it in time. They said no prob and rebooked him for today. He just came back with free haircut plus £10 off voucher for any treatment/cut of £30 and more!!! :j

I should pry mention that I tried to contact another salon first and tey NEVER ever picked up the phone...
