So let me get this right: with Amazon, eBay finally have some decent competition? The thing I hate about eBay is how laborious and slow it is to list stuff sometimes. Is Amazon really that much better?

Yes! although it does cost more for me it's worth it as there is no pictures, uploading, writing big thing, worrying someone won't pay, waiting for payment etc. I just type in name of item, fill in the book's condition details and hey presto! Listed!

Sold all 4 books listed since Tuesday and am just about to list another one.

Thankyou so much for this thread! I have so much stuff ( including a lot of books) that are waiting to be put on Ebay, OH has been promising me for months that he'll do it, but now I'm going to take charge and join Amazon and do it myself!

And possibly keep the profits! ;)

Mainly fiction at the moment but may list some non fiction later - self improvement etc.

Just sold another two books and taken them to the post office .

My first buyer has left 100% feedback so I am very pleased!

I am so glad that lots of you have found this thread useful and have been selling things on Amazon! I have sold 3 books and an X Box game (sold in 2 hours for £6.99) and have almost £25 in my account already. I think that it is in the spirit of this site to share ideas and opportunities and have found it so easy to list things!

    Keep listing everyone!

Just got a quick question, ( sorry if it's stupid!) I'm listing a book, but the cover I have is different to the ones that are already on the site, does this matter if the title is the same? ( I have entered the ISBN code)

Like I said, sorry if I'm being thick!

I don't know if anyone has has mentioned this before, but if you look on the ebay and other auctions thread there is loads of information re selling on Amazon by apprentice tycoon. It's the one that got me started!

Sorry if this has already been mentioned and also because I don't know how to post a direct link to the thread!

LouB - I found this with a couple of my books too. I priced them low but in the comments I put: 'please note: the isbn matches but the illustration on the front cover is different, if in doubt please contact' (or words to that effect). I'm hoping I've covered myself doing it this way. HTH
