Must admit that I've not done much of the fishes this week but I will post an update at the weekend as I'm working late this week so no time before then. I've just started a last minute project for my granddaughter which I hope to have finished by Monday - will also post a picture of that at the week.
Dorastar - I don't know why flu always seems to affect men worst. I've just recovered from the flu but dh still asked me - every night even when I was too ill to get out of bed -"what's for tea?".
chickywiggle - I love seeing finished pictures - it helps to motivate me to get on with it.Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

Only 2 UFO's to start 2010 with - tigger (small but I'm not too pleased with it so keep putting it off) and a gorgeous kittens at the window one (large so keep putting it off )

That is lovely! Have found even more UFO's hiding under the bed today - 2010 is going to be a long no-spend year as far as stitching is concernedMortgage £119,533 going down slowly

chickywiggle - love the map its beautiful.
Done a tiny bit on the stocking think its going to be next years project for xmas..... though the cards i gave out were loved, just need to do one for my mums birthday pronto! (31st dec)
Think a new thread for next year a great idea, those of us who have skulked and sadly let the side down (me included) can start afresh with all out lovely new projects and old hideous UFOS0 -
These are all looking great. I'm too embarrassed to post mine. I've barely picked up a needle and my one and only finish in months is not suitable to post in a family forum!0

I was very cross last night....
Went to frame Rubys' xmas present and as I bent up the little metal bits that hold the back board of the frame on 3 of them snapped off!!
Not sure if I will get another frame now in time for xmas as it took me ages to find that one in the first place.
Kicking myself that I left it so late to properly frame it but there's no point crying over spilt milk....or a broken frame
I have a small present to give her though for the day and as she isn't 1 yet she won't even notice that the picture isn't there but it has bothered me because I know she won't have it now till I find another frame.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. Is there not some other way you could get round it? Seems a shame that the frame will go to waste now.
I know when I get things professionally framed, the backs are taped on - is there any chance you can get hold of some of that sort of tape?? then you wouldn't need the metal pins

I was hoping to take it back for a refund.
I did think about taping the back on but hubby said I shouldn't have to bodge something to get it to do the job its intended for.
Only tape we have here that we could use is silver gaffer tapeThough I wouldn't want to try it incase it doesn't work and ruins the frame even more (then I wouldn't get a refund)
