Been a couple of weeks since I updated, haven't been working on my UFO much tbh as I am working on a christmas design which I want to frame for my sister.

Yes it is, she has a little boy of 5, so I thought she would like the design. - I'm nearly finished it now, should be posting the finished article tomorrow

My DS is 6 and if someone sewed that picture for me I'd be over the moon. I bet she'll love it. I'm looking forward to seeing it when you've finished

Hi All

Time for my update. I finished letter "O" on Thursday night and was going to put picture up and noticed it was looking a bit grubby for a photo. So I gave it as wash and remembered someone talking about sewing in the well for hoops kept their stitching clean so I thought I would try it with the frame. So heres hoping it will keep it a bit cleaner before the end.

Not much happening in my part of the world, hubby back at work after a bout of the flu. Inspection at work for myself on Wednesday so making sure all my files are up to date.

Hi guys, update time again The floral alphabet looks great and i love the fireside one louise, i also like your little rainbow, so sweet. I tried in the well, it was ok but i prefer the normal way and i've started clipping back the excess fabric, it is so much easier now :rotfl:

Hi all I wonder if I can join you? I am a serial lurker on this thread and love all the gorgeous work you are creating.

I have been cross stitching for about 11 years now and its one hobby that I have never looked back on. I have generally be stitching for gifts and I am ashamed to say I hold none of my own work apart from my last finished piece. I have decided this year though to start stitching for pleasure and myself. I never have any ufo's because I tend to stick with one piece untill its finished, hope I can stll join though

However saying that I am working on one piece for my Mum for christmas. She has never had any of my work so I thought it was about time. One of my favourite things to stitch are Newton's law bear so I am stitching 'its a wonderful world' for her. I have only just started but I am hoping to get I finshed in a week or so ready to frame :T

Once I have finished that project I am going to do a Heath and Earth design, thanks for introducing me to them Louise. This will be huge though and on a count that I dont usually attempt but I think it will be worthwhile.
