To be continued - stay tuned for next weeks episode.
Blimey! That looks like a whole new piece of material! I bet you're glad you kept going now and didn't bin it.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Coming along nicely Louise!
I am taking my time on my current UFO project because I really enjoy stitching sampler type kits (which is my current project) because after only a short while you can see where you have been immediately....kind of like doing lots of small kits to make one big one. The last kit I done I seemed to be stitching for hours but getting nowhere.
Also I am using my new frame and its sooooooo much better to use than the old one:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Morning all
*Louise* thats brilliant progress -those shades are so relaxing to look at :TI have a question about that frame you are using-can you get the fabric on it really tight? only Im thinking something like that might be good for the big projects Im going to be doing -but if I can't get the fabric like a drum I will stick to a hoop... ooooohhh and where did you get it from ?-just in case...
Sweetcarer -you have done really weel to get that fabric THAT clean :T-its looking lovely too

MrsM, *Louise*, Misty Blue So much progress in a week and you can really see it Very impressed and something for the rest of us to aspire to.
Just bought another UFO - from the charity shop a printed peice of fabric ready to embroider but someone has cut a square from the top so not sure how I will do the panel but it is gorgoues so fingers crossed I can find a way to make it work.
Hope everyone has a nice weekend and the weather is better than here (which as its foggy drizzly adn bleurgh is perfect stitching weather)0 -

I only recently started using that frame, and I can't see me going back to a hoop now.
I got it from Sew and Sew when I first ordered my Galatea stuff , it does keep the fabric quite tight, it does slacken off after a while, but I put an extra piece of fabric between the clip and the frame if I need to.

^^I have this smaller one, they do a larger one as well, but the great thing about it is one side is bigger than the other, so you have 2 different frame sizes to choose from depending on your project.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. When you have large areas to fill in the same colour do u work in rows then goback along same row and make it a X ?0
-
Hi Owens
I do.....I find it much easier to do the whole area in 1/2 stitch , once you have the bottom half of the X done and have loads to go back across -you can put your pattern down and just go over it without thinking....
*Louise*
I think I might have to try one of those frames !!!!-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
