    This week:

I've not been able to stitch much on Crisp Afternoon, as I haven't had the space to get it all out, so I've done some more on Newtons Law, as it's much smaller, so I can stitch it without taking up half of the room!

Everyone's UFOs are looking great. Well done! :T

Well here is an update on the tabecloth, I felt that I done a fair old whack until I took a photo of it. Have been really good and not done anything but the tabecloth, well apart from reupholstering 4 dining room chairs, two left to go, though don't think I will finish it by the end of the month as the rugby season has started so there goes my saturdays, which were lazy days (well if you count housework manic cooking and baking and sewing lazy). Sewing will be relagated to evenings again.
Have seen so many nice kits and projects on here and the cross stitch thread.... will never catch up on all my sewing at this rate.
Think I will definatley have some smalll kits/projects that are more portable to do at the same time, jam jar tops/xmas cards for the xmas hampers I feel would be a good tactical move.DSCN1672.jpg

  • mind if i join you ladies :)

ive got the following cross stitches unfinished

country companions sunflowes - working on this at the mo
micky and friends flying carpet (needs restarted as messed up so bad. started it around 10 years ago and it was to big a project for a beginner hence the mistakes)
a couple of small winnie the pooh xstitches (no idea where the threads are so need to raid mum's stash for the ones im missing).

my plan of action is as follows

    1. continue with the country companions project. at the moment i've done around a third of the stitching needed.
    2. when i get to mums and get the threads I need finish the small winnie the pooh projects.
    3. start back with country companions and finish it.
    4. do a wedding sampler for best friends wedding in november 2010.
    5. do the micky and friends flying carpet.

I want to get the small projects out the way so that there is less on my to do list :)

    Well done MRSMC, she's beautiful!

I love the Celtic Summer lady too, so pretty in pastel shades.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

What a coincidence - there are a couple of us who have not long completed that design (mine was earlier in the thread lol) I started in the centre and followed the lettering outwards, it was really easy to do. :)

Well folks, I decided to continue - so it was looking like this when I found my UFO in the shed

    http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/ac117/sweetcarer/Picture006.jpg

Then I gave it a very good wash and restarted last week. Now a week later it now looks like this
