Ladies I need some help some inspiration, finding the tablecloth hard- going, and only on the pink flowers (20 to do about 6 left) seems to have hardly filled a spot of the silly thing. Is it really really bad if I cheat and have more than one thing on the go at once? Thinking posting a picture of my feeble work so far my embarrass me into getting more of a move on so off to try and figure that one out. hope everyone else stitching without the frustration !!

It's not cheating to have more than one kit/UFO on the go. I'm working on three projects - the holiday train which is getting very fiddly! AOYD No dogs allowed - this is almost finished and a Country Companions one.

As everyone else has suggested make sure you don't forget about the tablecloth!

Is it normal to start dreaming in DMC thread numbers?

Right here is the dreaded tablecloth. Will search my archives and post a picture of the napkins which I have already completed.
I know the tablecloth is for Christmas so I have some time, but need to send it to my mum to be cleaned and ironed once finished. (I don't know where my gran had stored it !!).
Might get a move on with the xmas stocking am also halfway through and I think as I still can't find the pattern for my quilt - gutted have written to Bucilla but they dont stock it any more so at my wits ends
and on advice from you ladies am going to start... a picture of some parrots to bring my kits down to the bare minimum.

Sweetcarer. As others said, don't bin it!

I done a quick google for rust stain fabric remover and lots of hits came up http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=rust+stain+fabric+remover&meta=&aq=f&oq=

If you are resigned to binning it and starting again then trying out a couple of stain removal suggestions can't hurt at all :D

Apparently it's unusual to dream in colour! I was dreaming about stitching last night. It took me ages to get to sleep. Was almost tempted to get up and do some stitching, but didn't bother in the end.
Me & my mum have been known to describe colours using DMC thread numbers. Like "I saw this gorgeous top. Really bright red. DMC 606 colour!" Sad, I know...:rotfl:

She's saved me from a spending spree on Sew & So. I have all the sizes of the R&R plastic snap frames, but can only find my 9" X 17" and my 6" square ones, so I was going to buy a new set from Sew & So. And probably get some more needles and maybe a bell pull (they have some gorgeous ones on there at the moment!) too, but I mentioned it to Mum a minute ago on the phone and she said she's got some snap frames I can borrow. So I can put the credit card away now.
I swear someone is coming into my house and hiding my stash! I have some threads missing from my Crisp Afternoon folder and I don't remember taking them out to use somewhere else.

Afternoon all, my cousin has just gone into hospital to b induced early due to pre-eclampsia and I have on the spur of the moment decided I would like to quickly stitch her a lovely card. I was just wondering if any1 had or knew where I could get a small chart for it? She is having a boy. (also posted in other xstitch thread)

    TIA

I got the little fairy one for my daughter when she was 3 weeks old just from a local sewing shop (now closed down :( ) I got the little angel 1 from ebay wen my son was a baby. I have just managed to find the chart for the little fairy one online as u can not buy the kit anywhere anymore :( I've been looking on e-bay for months to no avail.

They are DMC the code for the angel one is XC0911 and the Fairy is XC0910. I will PM u the link to the site where I got the chart from for the Fairy
