Thing is, it's where to put the unit. Currently my boxes fit into the sideboard, so they are handy to get to

Maybe once the kids move out I will make myself a craft room and get a huge unit lol.

Only about 10 years (ish) to go..... my eldest is only 9....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Finally got round to having a better look at it. There are 50 colours, which isn't so bad, and no blending.

I spoke nicely to my dad and he is taking it into work to photocopy it all onto A3 size paper for me so I won't go blind .And that way I can keep the original nice to pass on to someone else.

I WILL NOT start it until Galatea is completed though... :A

Louise -thats not so bad then -no blending and things :T-The Galatea one does like its one of those that flows nicely when you are working on it -I love ones like that...the celtic ladies are like that ....Im hoping the Orange lady will be the same, but looking at the chart , it looks very like a big blue dragon I did my niece -lots of stopping and starting -but the end result was worth it . This one will have beads added I think ...once its done...
right -back off to my "in her garden" -soon be time for my weekly update -it really helps keep me motivated :T

Morning all

Thought I would pop in with this weeks progress
from last week :-

To this week :-

I managed to get the bottom corner done and Im now on my way down the other side :jcan't wait to get a bit further down so i can have a break from browns, greens and combinations of the 2
Hubby took my Golden earth chart with him to work and ran me 2 copies off.... its over 12 pages -so heck knows what its going to be like with your lake picture *louise* with 25 pages :rotfl:-my nieces dragon had 12 so I know I can deal with that
In the spirit of "MSE Frugality" -I "might" be moving onto my 4th Celtic lady before I do the golden earth one as I think I allready got the fabric and threads for that a while ago
Right -time for me to get on and do some more ....

^^Gosh - BIG difference this week!!!! :T

My own update: I have been working my butt off and Galatea is nearly finished :j (I have been up till 3am most mornings lol:o) I just have the tail fin to do, I have enjoyed stitching it so much.

Oh My god -now that brings back memories -sitting up until the wee hours because I didn't want to put a project down :rotfl:....this one hasn't got me that bad -but I must admit hubby wondered if it was surgically attatched to me .....
*louise* -we know you are just desperate to start that lake picture :rotfl:...that is gonna be a doozy .....are you going to do another one at the same time so you can flit backwards and forwards so you aren't sewing green all the time?

Finished another one - admittedly another small lavender bag - but it all counts. PLus mended the zoom button on my camera so might be able to take/post photos of the next project - the dreaded tablecloth.

I am going to work on just that until I get a good whack done. I might move onto a UFO later, but hopefully not for a few weeks.

Should have a piccy of completed Galatea by tomorrow morning :j

Ps - hubby makes my cuppas as well :coffee:...aren't we spoiled :dance: :rotfl:
