Louise, well done on finishing your UFO! :j Must admit I had to read your text above the picture twice as I read it first time as 'I finished my flaming UFO' My eyes didn't see the o on the end :rotfl:

MRSMCAWBER, have you bought from the wimblebees site at all or just using them for illustration purposes? I really love the Queen of Hearts chart too and am seriously tempted!

Edited to add ~ I have posted this on the other thread too but it seems to have quietened down so I thought I'd post my question on this thread too incase it gets missed on the other one :o

Has anyone used sewandso site and would you recommend them?
I ask because for 3 days now I have searching for the perfect size Elbesee frame and they are the only site I have found that has the size I want/need.
If they are reliable I will go ahead and order one.

    Thanks

  • I have replied about Sew and Sew on the other thread, but in short, yes I would recommend them!

Those links are all just bringing up the Wimblebees home page for me when I click them

Shelly - PML @ 'flaming UFO'....you're not far off with that...:rotfl:

I answered on the other thread as well, I would definitely recommend them - one of the best sites I have dealt with.:j

Morning all! OMG those Heven and Earth designs are fantastic, but way too much for me! They are beautiful! I dont feel experienced enough for those yet!
My cushion cover is so simple by comparison. Got a lot done yesterday as it is very enjoyable to stitch!

One day I will set myself the challenge and do a biggie!

    Have a lovely day everyone

PS Shelly - Sew &So - brilliant, Ive never had any probs with them, except spending too much! LOL!

    Morning all
Shelly -I haven't used wimblebees -but have heard good things from others. I can't remember the site I found that had the whole Heaven and earth range -I spent ages looking through them all at the weekend :p.....
I will try and find it again later ;)
I have used sewandso -and as others say -they are great :T

Hubby is in a golf competition today (anniversary pressie) so won't be back until this evening "sometime" so Im going to x-stitch ALL DAY :j

Jinty -I bet you would be fine with a more complicated design :D-you still only do crosses..it just takes a wee bit more concentration....
right -off to find that sight and drool :rotfl:

Jinty, I also wouldn't tackle a big design. Not because I don't think I could do it because as Mrsmc says its still crosses, just lots more of them but because I *think* I would get bored and want to move onto something else.
Having said all that though I am seriously tempted by the Queen of Hearts. She would go perfectly in our bedroom as we have a feature wall of dark red.

I have just contacted them to check if the charts have DMC threads listed -and they do :T-they answered straight back -which is a good sign..I can feel myself getting closer and closer to flexing my debit card :p
