DFW Bank Charges Reclaim Thread

Hi,
I have calculated all of the charges on mine and my partners accounts etc but should i put a claim in for a refund as I am still often going overdrawn, although with £1000 in charges between us this would hopefully be a thing of the past.
Also my boyfriend is with RBS and some of his charges are Referral charges. Does anyone know what these are? and if they can be claimed back?
Thanks

Hi markrmagee,
Can you tell me if it was direct debit setup charges (£4 a go) etc or was it for 2 x £32 for going overdrawn?

I'm bumping this as I am just about ready at last to embark on our reclaiming mission
and this thread has a wealth of info about results others had had in their battles. If you are just starting out this is a great thread to follow.

I sent my LBA to them 04/08/2006 and am awaiting their reply! Am scared s***less about it all!
I got a reply saying that there is no way they're going to give me my money back.
I'm just waiting for the expiry of the 14 days from my LBA before putting in my small claims (moneyclaim online). It seems to be a perfectly simple procedure and I would've love to see the look on Stuart Higley's face when they get THAT one! :T  :money:
It's for £5,500 or so![strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0 -
You can claim for Penalty Charges only. These include: Returned Cheques; returned Direct Debits; Paid Referrals; Card Misuse Fees; Unauthorised Borrowing.
These do not include: Monthly subscription fees for "premium accounts" such as Advantage Gold, cheque cancellation fees, loan arrangement fees; and fees for setting up standing orders or direct debits and in the situations where you pay for new cards or cheque books you cannot reclaim those fees either...[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0 -
