I really admire you for sticking to your guns, unfortunately, I was bullied into removing my review, I know exactly which site have contacted you.... they are stuck in the middle but believe me I'm sure they are sick to death of that awful company because reading between the lines from the contact I had with the review site, this is constantly happening to them by this awful company. It seems as if "Jual domestics family" have nothing better to do than sit in a corner and scour all the review sites then go mad if anyone dares to put anything less than glowing about them.
At the end of the day it is their word against yours and I cannot see from reading your comments that you have said anything that could be libellous or defamatory.
I really really hope you don't get itimidated by them. They cannot go on treating customers this way. It is truly shocking.

i was very happy with their service it was excellent from start to finish, the del man was also very helpful

Probs here too! we purchased from them as they are a local company...
order placed for a washing machine over a week ago. day after order theyt did ring to say order would be 7-10 days before came into stock and money taken. have rung them to ask for progress and they said its stil out of stock. and will be for at least another week. they said they would ring us to arrange delivery but that could be another week and probably longer!!!
i have a baby and have already done 1 week without a washing machine and defo another week!!!!!!! ggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and they have my money!
was told to e-mail to cancel order so will see how fast they are at refunds...
not very happy!!! we were trying to use a local company, not forgetting their 19 delivery charge when they are less than 2 miles from us gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr0 -
ooog forgot to say that trying to get hold of someone of the phone is near on impossible!!! the 3 phone numbers on our invoice dont work, you get put into a queue and then after 10 mins of holding it cuts you off.
they also said they'd not be able to deliver into the house cos of health and safety.. i dont think its safe for a small petite woman to have to lift a washing machine then!!!

There are one or two glowing reviews for Jual in this thread that just don't ring true. I can believe the one from a long time MSE'er, but ones posted by new members who rarely post again? As for the post that says "we didn't use Jual, but I certainly wish we had" - all very fishy imo.
Having read this thread, I think the OP's account sounds the more convincing. There are many complaints on review websites about taking the money from accounts for goods that are not in stock and have a delivery time of 4 weeks plus. Very out of order in my view - it suggests to me that it is basically company policy to take any order (and the money) and then see if they can fulfil it within a reasonable time. I think this is unacceptable.
I cannot think of a good reason why a company of this size cannot take the money when the item is dispatched.
Oh and the prices are nothing special either. They are more expensive than Coop Electrical and BHS for the appliance I am looking to purchase.0 -
Was just about to post to see if anyone had dealt with Jual before as my tumble dryer has died and need a new one straight away and they are offering the best price for the one I want.
I decided to phone them and they told me they had none in stock and would be 6 weeks wait. I appreciated their honesty and would have ordered if I could have waited that long as it is a considerable saving.0
