MONEY MORAL DILEMMA. Should Cilla give Graham a quick reminder for the date cash?

Forget it, if you don't particular want to see him again, then just leave it! It's not worth the hassle!
Just learn in the future to ask your date if he has his wallet, haha!

Definitely go for a second date. I'm sure he'd remember the wallet issue and pay for the second meal instead. Have some faith people! If he doesn't then at least she gave finding love with him a proper go and won't think back and wonder if she should have gone on the second date.0

I could easily manage to forget a wallet on a first date, and then if I had the impression someone wasn't that keen on me, would feel too embarrassed to make contact re the money, esp if I liked them. I would hand it to the friend, though...
I think if she thinks there is any chance, based on what he talks about and who he is, not whether he can remember his wallet, then a second date would be worth a try.
Some girls are only interested in men who bank roll them all the way, so maybe he is trying to check her out ... or maybe he has ambitions as the toyboy of a wealthy lady?0 -
When you meet up for the next date smile at him sweetly and say nicely I hope you have your wallet with you this time as it's your turn to pay watch for his reaction and then decide where you go from there.liberty12640

leave it, but learn the lesson.0

Yes, of course she should! She could also tell the 'friend' who introduced them. £20 is too much to throw away.0

It was worth the £20.00 to find out he's not great.
Don't waste time on another evening but do tell the friend who set it up, that he didn't pay.
It was worth the £40 to find out they're not compatible. Forget it and move on. I wouldn't bother mentioning the wallet problem, unless specifically asked by someone relevant e.g. the friend.0 -
No moral dilemma at all! If Cilla doesn't care for Graham, the money is not so great that she can't afford to put it down to experience, although an assertive woman would ask him to send her the money. If this situation happens again, she should agree how and when the money is to be repaid before parting from her companion and not leave it open for the next 'date'. The real issue is that she doesn't like Graham and shouldn't have to see him again.0

This is probably one to write off to experience. And not fall for it again.
I would certainly tell the friend who set up the blind date so that it doesn't happen to any other sucker.
It's an established scam.
It's happened to me twice. The first time I fell for it. The second time with a different date I looked him in the eye and said sweetly " I'm SO sorry, I don't have my card and I my cash is going on the cab fare home" Got up and swep' out, leaving him to it.0
