its come to my attension there are 140 comments of people who have had including myself who have had some concerns with these companys so here is a suggestion
whay cant we all get together and sort a petition for goverment, the more people who have problems can find us easily on google and if we all worked together we could get the rules changed and put these companies out of business or pehaps ligit with tighter policys from the idiots at westminster,
they do say power to the people. so why not?"MSE Money saving challenges..8/12/13 3,500 saved so far :j" p.s if i been helpfully please leave me a thank you but seek official advice at all times from a pro0 -

Just been cold called by these wasters.
A quick gogle found this - http://www.fsa.gov.uk/pubs/final/allclear_15jul08.pdf

I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience.
I have bad credit and I'm under a debt management plan (have been for 2 years) - the past few weeks I have been trying to obtain a small loan and was yesterday called by a company (I cant remember the name off hand) who have advised they will loan to me despite this - even stating people under DMPs can borrow up to 3k? They stated they were not a broker and there were no upfront fees and even quoted re-payment terms advising this would start in 6 weeks time.
Now the rep said the docs would be sent via email then to be printed and posted back........I'm yet to receive any email!! I've tried to call them back but the number is always busy......0161 652 8220
I am slightly concerned as although I've yet to pay anything they did ask for bank card details. Has anyone had any similar experiences??
As luck would have it my new debit card has just arrived in the post so I'm sure I could have this activated asap incase this is a scam.
I look forward to any thoughts / experiences you may have.0 -

Sounds a bit iffy
If you type 'who calls me' in a google search and then enter this telephone number you'll see why the number is always busy. Lots of people saying that thier getting constant calls. No one has identified them yet on who calls me though0 -
maybe instead of listing all the bad loan companies someone could list the ones that can actually help? i'm looking for a loan. my bank won't give it to me. my credit rating is fair which i am working on at the moment. i'm also willing to pay more for the loan if that's what it takes. does anyone know of a trustworthy company who accepts applications from people with fair credit score? thanks...0

Corporate advances. They sent a shmoozer to visit us at home in his big black bmw. He told us they deal with commercial lending and we would be eligible for very different lenders to the usual ones. We paid a £395 upfront fee and they have been unable to find us a loan.0

Hi I did a loan application on JST financial.co.uk and within a day i had a company phone up (Unsecured Loan Company) saying they could get me the loan for £200 less than i asked for and they they would require an upfront fee of £40 and they then asked if they could take the money today. I told them i dont get any money in until the 17/03/10 so they set up a payment to be taken then. After i got off the phone with them i began to get suspicious/concerened as the only dealings i have had with debt repayments in the past is with HFC Bank who refused out right to sort the laptop i bought from Pc World out as it went wrong just after the warranty ran out 3 years ago so i was running inbetween the two companies trying to work out who was responsible for fixing it and kept repaying HFC and i just got no where even after contacting citizens advice (even though the person i spoke to rang them whil i was there and got irrate with HFC and Pc world) that experience had mostly taught me dont bother with finance agreements or Hire purchase. So anyway i decided to do a search in google to find reviews on what people thought on the Unsecured Loan Company [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM] and found this site which i now think is great full of useful information. so after reading about some other peoples experiences i decided to ring them up from the number on their website and then after listening to the options decided to go for the customer support number, I phoned that waited about 5-6mins and spoke to someone she asked for the refrence number, which i dont have because i have no paper work, she managed to find where i had gotten upto in the application process from DoB, postcode etc... and then i said i wanted to cancel the up-front payment thats due out on the 17/03/10 she asked why (and sounded abit short on the phone) so i said i've just been running over my finances and i've decided its not my best option, she told me that its cancelled so hopefully the payment wont go out. will post again on the due date to update whether it has or hasnt gone out0
