As a usual lurker, I must confess to actually waiting for your update..how sad of me is that. It's not even my mortgage!

I know it's only natural for us to want to do/pay more but you've done extremely well.

Pammy - saw on cha's that you said your back garden had weeds? If they're dandelions the gpigs will love them (and will save you some veggies) We go down to the canal path (bottom of our close) and pick some if we ever run low in our garden (VERY rare! lol! :D)

Have bit the bullet and bought my DD Just Dance 2 on the wii for her birthday present. Its on pre-order mid october so I am REALLY hoping it will be delivered on time. I am sure DD and her friends will have great fun with it at her tea party but it only has a week between that date and her birthday.
I NEVER buy games on release date never mind beforehand as I think the prices are ripoffs but it looks like it is a much better and improved version of Just Dance 1 and was only £8 more so I lifted my frugal hat. Although I have bought it with amazon vouchers earned on BP so I am allowed :D

Keep changing my mind about her party as I overheard a lady talking about roller blading near me that I never knew existed and is only £3 per person with a minimum £36. Quite cheap but then I would have to add food costs and party bags too not to mention my wits end in case any child gets injured!!!
I might just take DD and a friend this weekend to go and suss it out. DS2 wont want to do it as he doesnt like skating :(
They also do ladies night which could be fun haha.

Oh midnight shopping is so dangerous! :)

I've read some good reviews on that game and wanted it for myself for Christmas for the Wii , I want to dance instead of exercise.

Ladies night roller blading sounds like fun. Remember the old roller discos they had? Oh those were the days.:rotfl: the one near where we lived was called Roller City, it was worth travelling on the bus to get there. :D

Roller boots were just the coolest thing ever. roller blades just aren't the same :(

  • You will have to let us know what the game is like Pammy, the first one is pretty good. We borrowed it from a friend and the girls were on it for hours so may get this for them for xmas.

Roller discos - that brings back memories, I used to love roller skating.

I havent roller skated since I was about 10!!! I like the proper roller skates not the blades. I used to love my boots. We had a steep hill with a lamp post at the bottom that you had to aim for to stop yourself. those were the days!
