    Just quickly popping in :o

Have OPd £200 for September which has taken another month off :j
I now have exactly 11 years left at the moment - Sept 2021. Such a long way off, but not as long as it would have been.

Got another £10 off scratchies and have earned about £55 on ebay this month :T Received £10 on paypal from Lightspeed. Also another £10 argos voucher from Ipsos.

I have also saved by not having to do the school run to the other village and having two weeks off work and not having to travel so have only used half my petrol budget.
So even though I have not been on here much I have been doing things slowly but surely

Kids were away last week with their dad and I worked extra hours to have a few days off next week and then coming home and sorting and decorating my sons room. It was very demanding, and I often was painting up until 11-12pm so was shattered. It was a nice surprise for him though so it was worth it.

  • That sounds like a lovely surprise. You probably needed those days for a break, but at least you got some needed things done. Nice to see you posting again.

Thanks. I meant to say I worked almost full time to have the time off next week before the kids go back. I have a bit of a cold now and just feel a bit drained but hoping feel better and the weather is nice to take them out somewhere.

  • Hello Pammy,

I don't know whereabout you are in the UK to get decent weather, but I hope it isn't the South East - Summer already seems to have packed her bags for this year!!

Well done on painting that room - I always find that the most exhausting bit isn't the actual painting, but all the preparation, from moving furniture to rubbing down/washing off, taping everything in sight with masking tape etc etc... On the upside however, I bet it was much easier without other people around and I'm glad your son appreciated your hard work.

yeah I moved most of it out to my room and my DDs room and just ha a triple wardrobe and drawers in the middle of the room so once that was done it wasnt too bad but I had to do three coats as it was dark red and yellow before (sounds horrible but it wasnt that bad!)
I looked at doing my room but there is so much stuff in there plus a kingsisze bed that I would have nowhere to put. I'm not even going to attempt it!

Woke up to sunshine today so there is hope. Havent been outside to see how warm it is yet though!

Had a really good whoopsie shop this evening. I have started to go to my little Mr Ts round the corner in the evening around 5-6pm to get the yellow sticker foods. Today I got £17 worth of food for £6. Got three quiches that were £2 for 49p each. Two warbuton loaves at 35p each, hovis rolls 19p for 6, some cakes for kids (one pack had 2 days left on it) they were 25p each from £1, some apples and pears and a pepper for the piggies and a caeser salad pack 49p from £2.50 which we enjoyed tonight with one of the quiches and the rest of the romaine lettace will be piggies brekkie. Also got them a huge broccoli for 19p from 87p. Oh and some chargrilled chicken for 75p from £2 which we will have tomorrow.
Some days you just get there at the right time!

Had an LS survey tonight for 110 pts.

Did a couple of dooyoos but then realised they have taken the junior books off 300 pts and put it down to 100pts grr, does my head in! I had a few books I was going to do. I have 5500pts to get but really cannot be asked to do all that work for blooming 10p.

Last day off with the kids tomorrow as they are back at school on Thursday and back to normal routine again! Hope I can get back into the swing of things this next month. Cant believe its September tomorrow already. its shocking, where has the year gone??

had a few more surveys today 1 ipsos, and GTM.

Also won £20 at kids old school 200 club (bit like bonus ball lottery) :j Glad I stayed on it now.

Already its so much better having the kids at the same school now as we are able to go to the park and I was able to chat to a few other mums. Hence we are meeting one of them tomorrow at our local country park :)

Next month I will have two payments of tax credits as they pay every four weeks. Thats an extra few hundred quid which I will use for xmas and OPs. :D

I bet it's much easier with them being at the same school...and just wait until they grow some more and can go to school alone!

well done on your winnings! :)
I can't be bothered updating this anymore

Oh I cannot wait until they can make their own way to school, that will be bliss!!!

forgot to give my mortgage balance for end of month - £76,622.
On looking back to last August, there is a difference of £8700. Compared to without OPs it would only be £3700 :j Thats what I like to look at and compare how much difference there really is.
I'm not doing all the normal figures I do this month as there isnt really much to report.
