    Well done on your achievements - I'm hoping we're MF in 4.5years - although at the moment it's 5 years and 2 or 3 months - so I'm looking at a similar timescale to you :D Will be keeping tabs on you and GG in the NY!

    Thanks greent, maybe we need a 5 year thread! there seems to be a few of us :)

    Managed to put my spare change and £2 coins in the bank today which totalled £144 and also had chq from in laws £35. Also had 5 week payday month so have an extra weeks money :) This meant i could put back the money into savings, panic over and possibly to the decorating fund for hallway that desperately needs doing!

    Now just over 2 years we have taken on the challenge again! )(starting £237k Nov 2014) Current mortgage £232,399.82, current overpayment total £1550, years remaining= 17

  • Merry Xmas pammy - hope you have a lovely day, and thanks for posting on my diary. I am a long way from 5 years off the mortgage, but will cheer from the sidelines. Please keep posting next year - you do incredibly, and I will need more inspiration when my income drops on maternity leave.

    Total OPs for 2011 = £8400


    Interest per day: Jan, £6.84; Dec £5.66
