We will spend most of our hols at the in-laws place throwing stones into the sea. It is good fun. While not ideal, you have had a break, and sounds like there were some things you won't forget. I hope the car door isn't that pricey to fix. Poor little car. Anyone would think it was jinxed.
I missed you last night at the bingo. I paired up with someone else who was half an hour late. I won a line and a full house but didn't win the tournament.
Sounds like you might be glad it is one week and not two you went away for with all that luck.0 -
I thought bp pairing meant you won the points if they won but it doesnt work like that and I have never won a single line in any tourney I'm afraid so think i will just stick to playing at 8pm each night, hope you dont mind.
I was going to bed at 10.30 each night and getting up at 8am. It must have done me good to go bed that early and that was purely because I was shattered from the sea air and busy days and partly because I didnt have the internet lolMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

That is fine Pammy. I don't think I want to do it every week anyway. It was just i went on at 8 one night, and the cm asked me to pair up with someone else and i said ok. It's a bit late for me really as I prefer being able to go to bed when I want if i want or just not play if i am not winning.0

I thought that too, I dont like playing to the end that late. 2 hours is too long.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

, glad you had some good adventures in there :T

Have slowly got over our holiday and am now being positive about the good times we had. My MIL has claimed liability of the accident but the people picking my car up tomorrow say I have to pay £400 excess. I have queried this as if its not my fault I shouldnt be claiming through my insurance or to pay excess.
Have bought DS some school shoes today reduced from £10 to £7 (30% off), there were none for DD unfortunately, she is harder to buy shoes for, they have to be a certain style/heel/strap arrghhh!!
Also did my last food shop of the month and I have gone over by £30but I have used the money left over from holiday spend.
was reading a bit of my kindle pc freebie book about taking away stress last night hahahaha and to be honest there are a couple of things I will take away from what I read. I am thinking about the do things for 10 or 20 mins, like clean one room for 10 mins and stop, then do something else for 10 mins. I need to do some ironing but the thought of it all puts me off. but maybe only do half an hour then have a break, then do something else. And also says about the kids putting their things away before they go to bed rather than leave it all out so when they have gone to bed its a nice environment again to sit in.
I also am guilty of not clearing the kitchen at night sometimes and it states there is something that makes you feel better to have a clean sink lol, I suppose it does feel good to have a clean and clutterfree worktop!
There were a few other things like doing lists and things and trying not to set yourself too many things to do at once etc. *realistic
Am going to start telling the kids to get ready for bed 10 mins before time so they can put their toys and things away beforehand. I think it may take them a bit of getting used to as they just get things out and leave them there and go on to something else and just leave it there, its so frustrating! I am sitting here now looking at it all! (as you can see it hasnt started today!)
I was also going to start putting the gpigs food in containers for the week so it is already cut up and ready to be just put in the cage in the morning, saving me time and making sure we have enough for the week.
Setting out clothes for the week as well and also doing a meal planner.
It all sounds good in theory but we will see if I can keep it up!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987
