WOW  32 is amazing hun. Have you had a gold certificate or whatever it is they give you, so far I have a keyring and I think the next is a coaster lol. Thats all I am doing it for ;)

Bit nervous about home start interview, they might find me unsuitable :o

Got my letter from tax credits saying I owe nothing now from last year and I my next payment will go in next Thursday so hopefully my windfall of having two payments was my top up :j :D Thats brill.

Here is my mortgage graph going down, looks good when you see it like that :D Bit blurry but you get the idea and if the red line keeps going the way it I will be MF sooner than I thought :rotfl:

The graph was done for me by determind1 when he did my SS a couple of years ago. I can do them but not like he did it, too tech for me!

You are so close Cha, your mortgage is a third of mine! I have just been looking back over my diary at the old figures and I have to pinch myself how far I have come with it. I hate it that I didnt start it a lot earlier, it wouldnt have been possible when I was with ex though.

I was speaking to my mate yesterday as we took the kids to the local water park (free) and she was saying about how she had been overpaid at workm she had reduced her hours to 15 but they were still paying her for 20. this had been happening for weeks. I said did you not realise that your wages hadnt gone down and she made the comment that I dont check my bank every few hours like you, I am not that obsessed about it. I made a comment back that she must have too much money to bother about it then.
All last night and today her comment has really bugged me. I suppose I am obsessed with money but for a good purpose (in my eyes) she has an IO mortgage so we are in two different worlds when it comes to finances. Why do I let some silly comment like that get to me?

Don't let her bug you. Her ignorance of her bank account will just lead to her having to repay the money which she probably won't have.

There is nothing wrong with being careful with money, my mum used to comment I was tight but I bought a detached property (our current home) when I was 22 which was only possible through being sensible. Your friend will be quite envious when you're mortgage free and she's still on IO.
