Has been a horrible morning without the kids here, does not feel like xmas at all. :(

Then when finally got through to kids early afternoon it made it seem worse listening to them all having a really good time and the ex MIL/FIL were there to and are sleeping over. Its all happy families over there 7.gif

Then the kids say that grandparents are bringing them back tomorrow and I havent seen them for about a year so they will prob want to pop in. So I have been bloody cleaning like mad today doing a proper clean as they are quite posh lol. What a great day I've had 8.gif
I have no idea what time they are coming back tomorrow either, could be 10am, could be 2pm! could even be later than that!

Am about to put the kids presents out and do a treasure hunt for some of them. Have sorted their laptop out and it is all ready and back in the box and wrapped and hidden :)
When the pressies are out it might feel more xmassy.

Anyway have totted up my extra earnings for the year to make pressy buying money neutral and the totals are below. I didnt keep a proper tab on what I bought but with the total below I dont think I came anywhere near paying that much so must be money neutral :D

    BP - £150 amazon vouchers
    Voucher from Surveys - £158
    Bingo/Scratchies/comp wins - £592
    Cashback/Surveys - £200.00
Dooyoo - £150 for the first half of the year until I stopped.
    Ebay - £547

    Total for 2010 - £1,797

Not bad eh, but could do better 7.gif

Just been told that the kids are not coming back until 5pm and all the emotion just let rip and I broke down. I thought they were coming back in the morning so we could have a day of pressies.
    I'm not doing this again!

  • Sorry to hear that Pammy, hope you have a good few days with them when they get back - consider that your 'real' Xmas! Treasure hunt sounds like a great idea and I'm sure they'll really enjoy it. I've bet they've missed you too and are looking forward to seeing you. And that their Xmas afternoon wasn't as idyllic as it sounded on the phone!

You've done amazing with the extra money making this year, that is really impressive.
