Pammy you had a fab 2010 even if the heating was not the most frugal you still acheived loads.

My heating annoys me. almost 2 weeks and i still have no idea what i'm doing with it. we have a times, a thermostat that is in the hallway and each radiator has individual valves. coldest place inthe house is downstairs toilet which was a coat cupboard off the porch from what I can gather. the proch and toilet are just cold not damp just cold, I think ceramic tiles on walls and floor doesn't help not to mention you put on the light and an extractor fan goes on so even with a radiator on the room is just chilly.

Havent had the internet all day and I have been having palpitations!!! Usually I am at work so I could have still checked my emails but am at home grrr. Just came on now so thought get the important things on while I can :)

Rec'd my £10 argos voucher yesterday which means I have £22 now, also this morning got my capital bonds one which came in a nice card envelope so can be given as a gift. Was in 2x£5 which was nice. Also got my asda one today for £10 from maximile so this week has been fruitful :D
Think I might do a last minute xmas gift buy tomorrow.
Need to get my fruit and veg if I can but we were hit with the snow a little and I hate driving in it. Might have to walk to Mr M and not get so much stuff.

Have added a few more things on ebay (handprint charts) and may think of some other extra things to do. This month is about £50 profit. :)
NV should be on £47, getting closer :)

Have still be looking for a car and see two that I am interested in but they are both 50 odd miles away in different directions. My mate said he would take me though so might see how much they are if still for sale after xmas :)

Am typing fast in case my internet goes again lol

Take care folks and have a nice xmas if I dont speak to you before, I will no doubt be on here for company as kids go to dads this year.
    xx

Sorry went straight to reply post and didnt see peoples posts today.
Elysia2003 see my post above for me being good on money making, £30 coming in this week :) I will join next years, you can easily manage the thread I bet, let me know the link please.

As for the heating, I went to my front and back doors and can feel a draft through both. I am thinking of maybe making some curtains to put accross them? My downstairs wc doesnt have a rad in it as it was a conversion I did a couple of years ago and thought it wont matter not having one in there as dont spend that much time in there, in fact the kids dont use it at all cos of the spiders! Its been nice to get the clothes dry with the rads on though :)

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
